We have joined a group tour organized by this local travel specialist for Dagala Thousand Lakes trip in 2019.
It was one of the most scenic treks that I have ever been to. All along the way you will be greeted by towering Himalayas like Mountain Jumolhari, Kanchenjunga, Tsheringma and on occasion you may see Mount Everest as well.
I took this trek on end of May when the wild flower was in bloom.
The trek also gives you a glimpse of many glacial lakes.
We had a wonderful trekking experience with the agency. Thank you.
Note: Please bring warm clothes as it can get chilly on such elevation even during May month.

Our group of three had a wonderful experience despite some weather difficulties. Our guide, Raju, did an amazing job leading us and his company worked the logistical angles well to ultimately get us to Everest Base Camp. The trek was excellent although tough in the short timescale but I wanted the challenge. For others make sure youre happy with the non acclimatisation days, I had the full information and I chose to take the shorter trek. Off season in January although cold was a great time to trek as far less people on the trail as I hear spring time is just to hectic. Even in the winter you get warm during the daytime treking.
