I couldn’t recommend this trip more. We loved the cycling element mixed with learning about the culture of two fascinating countries. The cycling is very flat (although hot obviously) so not too demanding. I don’t do much cycling at home but I loved cycling in the group through local towns and villages. It’s an excellent way to see the countryside, the beautiful temples and the way ordinary people live.
The hotels were really excellent too, many with swimming pools, although the itinerary was pretty full so we didn’t always have time for a swim!
Our explore guide Binh was exceptional and really made the trip for us. We had lots of laughs along the way and he and other local crew looked after the group so well.

I can't speak highly enough of the crew. They created a thoroughly enjoyable experience and genuinely cared about those of us travelling on board. I loved everything about the trip. There was plenty of activity to be had or rest if that was what was needed. Boating life was wonderful and of course the ultimate highlight the 3 Lochs - Ness, Oich and Lochy and the majestic environment which we had the absolute pleasure of walking with an experienced guide. Walking the length of The Great Glen Way was an option rather than a must. I took the option of resting or walking a shorter distance when needed. Scotland you certainly made my heart sing. Huge thanks and appreciation to the crew.

Our second trip with Explore, and both have been Fantastic. We had an excellent group to ride with, the bicycles were great, and the location, Provence, was amazing and beautiful. But what really pulled it together was our great team leader, Erwin. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, provided excellent guidance throughout this journey. And beyond that, he has a passion for Provence, its people, and its history, that he was able to effectively share with the group. We really enjoyed the cycling tour of Murcia. Our guide Miguel Angel was first class and good humoured. While the weather let us down one day (severe weather warning), Miguel quickly organised a range of activities to keep us all entertained and amused. The roads we cycled on were generally very quiet and well paved.

Great tour, very varied itinerary. The tour leaders were keen to ensure we had a good experience and gave us lots of information about Turkey. Bikes need little more attention on day to day basis and service after each tour.

I had an excellent ebike which made this trip pleasurable. The canal path is rough and although it is flat I wouldn't recommend it for a first timer. Our guide Erwin was personable and knowledgeable. Having an ebike made riding in the extreme winds and the optional ride possible for me. I strongly recommend Explore provide helmets and water bottles as other tours do. It takes up so much space when you are not returning home after a tour.
