Starting in Faro, the fascinating capital of Algarve, you will drive to Portimão the largest city of Western Algarve and was traditionally a centre for shipbuilding, sardine fishing and fish processing. Follow the route through Costa Vicentina where you can enjoy marvellous landscapes and beautiful beaches. Once in Evora you will be allured by its unique romantic atmosphere, delicious gastronomy and captivating history. Proceed to Elvas one of Portugal´s hidden gems, this highly fortified and historic town is situated on the arid border region with Spain. There you can visit Merida, a destination that brings the old Roman Empire back to life. Don’t forget to pay a visit to Seville, famous for a mixture of the old and the new architecture. This trip will fill all your senses and will leave great memories for a lifetime.
Fairly flat cycle ride of approximately 40 miles/day on mainly quiet roads or off road on the Via Verde, though there was some cycling on busy main roads. We had non stop sunshine and temperatures in mid 30s for our trip in late September, but felt that some of the Via Verde route would be almost impossible if it was wet. There were some good hills to ascend most days.
The Spain tour we were was very good. The hotels were fine as were the breakfast meals. The guides were excellent at each stop as well as our guide and driver for the entire tour.
Excellent choice of hotels, hire car was spacious and new. Friendly staff replied to my (many) questions in a friendly and helpful manner. Granada and Seville are truly amazing places to visit and so is Cordoba but 2 days in the both the former locations and 1 day in Cordoba was the perfect combination with a beach 1/2 day at Torremolinos at the start and the end to relax. Will use you guys again !

We saw a lot of Sapin which was what we wanted. The itinerary was great. However, it was a bit rushed and a lot more walking then indicated.
The coach was very nice, comfortable and well equipped, nice big window as long as you were not seated by a partition of the windows.
The hotels were for the most part very nice. The hotel in Valencia was terrible.

I loved the experience with the tour that Destination Services created according to my needs and the time I had available. The organization was impeccable, the guides were wonderful and I loved especially in the case of Ronda that despite having people who spoke Spanish, English, and French, the guide was fluent in all these languages. Visiting these white towns full of history and incredible landscapes was the best decision I could have made.

But also, by Jerez which has preserved an incredible architectural heritage.
Loved the self-drive tour, gave us the ability to stay on our own schedule. Locations were great with lots to explore in each town as well as along the drive. Ronda and Seville were our favorite! We had the ability to stop while on the road to wine and olive oil taste too, as well as explore Castillo de Almodovar, a beautifully restored castle near Seville where they shot several scenes of Game of Thrones. Location of hotels were good too, easy to get to so you didn't have to drive through some of those difficult narrow one way streets. Only issue was having to pay for parking at some of the hotels, this should have been part of the package. Other than that, it was a great tour!
