Hi Stefania! Sorry to take so long to write back. It has been crazy trying to get back into the swing of things at work after that trip. Italy was amazing!! We absolutely loved it! As for feedback on the trip, we really don't have anything that was negative. We loved everything that was planned! We especially loved how you planned the sites that we went and how the pattern flowed (not sure if you did it on purpose but we think so). Also, thank you for being very accessible to us during the whole planning of the trip. You helped put us at ease and it was very reassuring that we chose the right company. That is all that I can given you that might be considered constructive. The rest I could say would just be compliments on everything else. If I can think of anything else that I think is useful I will definitely email you. Hope all is well, Jane P.S. - Does your company only provide trips for Italy or other countries as well, just wondering for the future :)
Traveling from eternal Rome and up through the hazy hills of Tuscany, you’ll spend eleven days sampling the best of Assisi, Siena, Florence, Bologna, Venice, the Tuscan wine region, and Capri! Catch the spirit of la vita bella as you explore elegant Florentine piazzas, rummage through handcrafted artisanal treasures, sip world-class wines, and float down intimate Venetian canals. You will then discover the treasures along Italy’s Amalfi Coast, to sun-bleached Capri before returning to Rome!
Leave the crowd behind and with your skip-the-line tickets visit the Colosseum and the Imperial Roman Forum. Explore the most monumental elements of the Eternal City with a private tour guide who will bring to life the spirit of the ancient Roman world.
Visit the Colosseum, one of the largest structures of the ancient world, where Romans once gathered to watch the gladiator games, battles with wild beasts, and according to legend, sea battles. Discover how the Colosseum, a massive stone amphitheater which seated an estimated 60,000 spectators, was built in only 8 years. Your guide will unlock fascinating stories of its design and construction, the political benefit, the fighters, and the eventual end of the games at the Colosseum.
At the Imperial Roman Forum, your guide will bring to life the mythology, the popular celebrations of the time, and the gods of ancient Rome, which are reflected in the star signs in contemporary astrology. Learn how the pagan holiday Saturnalia influenced the unfolding of Christmas on the 25th of December today. Listen to the story of the Lapis Niger (Latin for ‘black stone’), the most ancient Latin text ever discovered in the world - which is housed in the foundation of a column in the Forum.
Discover the Temple of the Vestal Virgins - six young women taken from aristocratic families to serve as virgin priests of Vesta. They worked in the temple for a period of 30 years under different emperors and were regarded almost as goddesses in status. Their foremost duty was maintaining the sacred fire of Vesta which represented the hearth of Rome. As legend had it - as long as the sacred flame burned, Rome would endure.
From the Forum you will take a pleasant stroll to Palatine Hill, where Rome is thought to have originated. Walk among its beautiful hills and gardens and explore the Domus Augustus - Villa of Augustus - the partially excavated palace of Augustus and successive emperors. Your guide will discuss the legendary cave of Palatine Hill where, as myth has it, Romulus and Remus were found by the she-wolf who nurtured them through infancy.
Be whisked away into the beauty and history of Italy when you journey to Venice, Florence, and Rome. Journey to the wine-producing Romagna countryside for a relaxing two-night stay in a wine resort, and visit the Republic of San Marino, an enclave state of Italy. See how gondola oars are crafted before cruising the canals of Venice on one yourself. Witness a performance of Vivaldi’s famous Four Seasons in the city he lived in. Explore Orvieto, an ancient Etruscan hilltop city. Try your hand at making Italian culinary classics before sitting down to dinner. Discover Rome’s artistic masterpieces. Come along with us and embrace the history, culture, art and romance of this incredible country.
Overall a great trip
The hotels were mostly good class hotels except for two which were below expectations. The amenities in these two hotels were spoiled, not working or not useable. Not that we mind old hotels but at least do ensure that doors or any other amenities are in working condition in the rooms
Our guide Raid the coach driver made the 9 day tour a pleasant one. Together they ensured that we the travellers of different cultures and nations get from point to point smoothly and efficiently. The recommended optionals were great too. As for the visit to the Roman Forum, it would be more meaningful if it was guided. The coach we travelled in was very comfortable with good ventilation.
Thank you Europamundo Team for making this a memorable trip

This tour was an amazing experience and a great way to see A LOT of Europe in a short amount of time. The trip was fast paced but very well planned out with the itinerary and mix of activities that you see and do. Jemma, our tour guide was absolutely amazing! We couldn't have asked for better! She was charismatic, funny, knowledgeable, organized, and guided us in a positive way where we got the very most out of the travel experience learning the local history, foods, culture and best site seeing spots. She went above and beyond to make sure we were getting the most out of our tour experience. Gabriel, our driver was also phenomenal. We always felt very safe and he was always perfectly punctual and helped us load/ unload and kept us very comfortable on the coach.
