This is a high quality three-day private guided trip for two to six people that will take you across historic sites, buildings, museums, and castles in France. The main highlights of the tour include Mont Saint-Michel, D-Day landing sites in Normandy, and three top castles of the Loire Valley. We will also go on city sightseeing tours of Normandy's capital Rouen and the medieval habor city of Honfleur.
The trip has been designed to offer insights into French architecture, culture and history. Learn more about French Renaissance architecture as you take a guided tour of three top Loire Valley castles: Chambord, Amboise and Chenonceau. In Normandy, explore the region's World War II history as you visit the D-Day landing sites, Normandy American Cemetery and Mémorial de Caen, among other war sites.
We will be traveling in a comfortable vehicle (Mercedes E220 business class car for 2–3 people or Mercedes minivan for 3–7) that travels faster than bus, giving us more time to explore various sights and attractions. We can also customize the trip based on your personal preferences.

See the best of Paris in one of three ways: via panoramic tour, a bicycle ride along the Seine, or a walk through the Latin Quarter with a local guide. There are plenty of opportunities to take part in more active experiences, such as golfing atop the cliffs of Étretat, perched on the cliff high above the sea, making playing golf here a memorable experience and visual feast.
Best bang for your buck. The only way to see as much of Europe as we did in 18 days. Often times you do not have very much time in certain cities/towns, but the travel directors do their best to make sure you hit the highlights and have a good experience. You just have to know going in that this is an introductory trip to all the wonders of Europe. That being said, we had a fantastic time. No real complaints other than feeling short on time in some locations,, as expected. Would highly recommend for someone’s first experience in Europe and I even enjoyed it as a repeat traveler as this tour went to some unique places such as Saint Paul de Vence and Colmar. Optional excursions were also all excellent and included meals at hotels were surprisingly good.

Clever to schedule Paris tours on the weekend when there is less traffic. The long bus rides were nicely paced to include good rest stops and small villages to walk about. Happy to discover Lyon, Nice and Avignon.

This was a busy itinerary which gave us the opportunity to visit several places that we have been dreaming of seeing. Our tour director was fabulous. He communicated the schedule for the day and we didn’t feel stressed, instead we enjoyed the many beautiful cities

Wonderful trip! I strongly recommend several of the Optional Experiences to make the most of your time, including the sunset boat trip in Paris (you see the Eiffel Tower aglow!), walking tour of Hidden Venice, and walking tour of the Colosseum in Rome.
Be prepared to walk a lot (I hit 10-14k steps most days!) Be prepared for early mornings.
DO NOT GO ON THIS TRIP if you're not ok with joining a group that has already been happily travelling together for a week. This is NOT a standalone trip, you're joining partway through on the European Trail.
It was a wonderful introduction to Europe. It was fast paced, but very organised by our experienced travel director . Everyone onboard had a great time. Thoroughly recommend 👌
