Tours to Tasmania don’t get much more epic than this two-week sojourn. Expect World Heritage listed historic sites and wilderness areas, blinding beaches and glacial lakes, with a parade of distilleries, wineries and farm gates in between. It’s hard to pick highlights, but we’ll throw a few out there: a Wineglass Bay cruise, part of your Freycinet adventure; a Gordon River cruise along Tasmania’s wild West Coast; and a Port Arthur guided tour, among so many others. This is Tasmania touring at its finest.
Start in Sydney, finish in Cairns and leave no stone unturned on this 19-day adventure along Australia’s diverse east coast. You’ll tour all the postcard-perfect spots – snorkel at the Great Barrier Reef and the corals of the Whitsundays, go on a 4WD drive adventure in K’gari (formerly Fraser Island) and immerse yourself in the ancient wonder of Daintree Rainforest. With stops at wineries in the Hunter Valley, the beachside vibes of Byron Bay, Mission Beach, Hervey Bay and more – this is a true-blue intro to everything Australia.

Great trip. Seeing the remoteness of the N and W of Tasmania contrasted with the very different side on the NE and S.
Waking up in Cradle Mountain to snow and freezing temperatures will remain a highlight of the trip, closely followed by Launceston’s Cataract Gorge optional cruise which included a wine tasting! Very difficult to select highlights!
I like the fact that Margaret, the very knowledgable guide, gave us a variety of information on the history including convict background to Sarah Island and Port Arthur, human geography, agriculture etc and makes the area really come alive.
I have to congratulate Jess and Picture This for a fantastic experience in booking the flights today.
Jess was FANTASTIC. She was very friendly, patient, knowledgeable and extremely helpful in explaining everything I wanted to know along with being courteous and extremely professional. It was a pleasure having her on the other end of the phone helping me make a decision on booking my Christmas presents.
She went beyond what one has come to expect from a customer service representative in this day and age, and I have to say I have booked two flights with Picture This based fully around Jess's friendly and professional manner.
I went from hoping to make some polite enquiries of a number of different companies to booking and paying for two people on flights with your company simply due to her pleasant manner. The whole process including receiving my e-ticket was completed within the space of one call.
Please pass on my comments to Jess and thank her for helping make the process so easy.
