We felt like we really had the full New Zealand experience and loved every minute! Collette executed everything with precision and excellence! My favorite moment was driving through the tunnel on our way to Milford Sound and coming out the other end. Our mouths dropped open, and we gasped in awe at the scenery!

Excellent tour that covered both the North and South islands. Just one hotel wasn’t up to par but out of a 21 night tour that wasn’t too bad. Stu and Tamara our driver and guide were absolutely brilliant. Would I consider going on another AAT tour the answer is yes.

Our Tour Director Tamara was amazing so knowledgeable and our driver Stu was also fantastic. Only criticism was the hotel in Wellington accommodation was rubbish and the food was atrocious. Staff were not friendly.

The trip was amazing, and I'm so glad I went - I would recommend it to anyone! You do have to be prepared for a big budget for free-time add-ons beyond what is included in the trip but it makes sense - not everyone is going to want to bungee/canyon swing/kayak etc. One thing - the nature of a modular trip does make it tricky to vibe with everyone socially (we were joining people who had been traveling together for 2 weeks already on NZ Ultimate/Panorama), but our Trip Manager was a gem about doing his best to integrate us in seamlessly. Just something to be aware of! Also bear in mind the trip was 95% Aussies aged 22 and under - not everyone's vibe, but also a very fun time :) Will definitely be doing another Contiki in my future!

The people I met on the trip were wonderful. Our tour guide was enthusiastic, friendly, knowledgeable, organized and respectful of the entire group. His love of the countries we visited was infectious. There was so much to learn and experience in Australia and New Zealand, that I hope to return someday.
