Absolute banger of a time! I've always wanted to go to Australia for many years now and going with Contiki, especially with on the North Queensland to Uluru, was totally worth it! I couldn't speak for the sailing version of the trip, but the land stay in Airlie beach was really a nice bit. I would recommend going in the drier seasons because it rained and was quite windy during our stay in Queensland but nonetheless, a really exciting opportunity for everyone. If it's your first time going to Australia like it was for me, this is absolutely the trip to go, as you'll be seeing the natural highlights of the continent!

Great trip. Seeing the remoteness of the N and W of Tasmania contrasted with the very different side on the NE and S. Waking up in Cradle Mountain to snow and freezing temperatures will remain a highlight of the trip, closely followed by Launceston’s Cataract Gorge optional cruise which included a wine tasting! Very difficult to select highlights! I like the fact that Margaret, the very knowledgable guide, gave us a variety of information on the history including convict background to Sarah Island and Port Arthur, human geography, agriculture etc and makes the area really come alive.

AAT is an excellent tour company, I would rate them highly. They look after their customers very well, are helpful and attentive. The tour guide Margaret was wonderful as was the bus driver. Margaret was very informative and helpful and had so much knowledge to share. The accommodation was always good. I liked the interaction AAT Kings provided with the two dinners together (very special) with all the people on the tour on 2 separate evenings, the delicious breakfast meals we had and the welcome drink on arrival was very special and a nice personal touch for us all. The small free gift was a special touch. I love the colour of the bag. It'll be very useful. Thank you. From two previous tour companies overseas that I've travelled with in the past and also AAT Kings in Australia, I'd honestly have to say, AAT Kings was head and shoulders above the others.
