Mera Peak Climbing - May 2026
This 18-day, guided trip will take you to the top of Mera Peak (6,461 m), one of the most sought-after trekking peaks in Nepal. Starting from Kathmandu, the Nepalese capital city, we will fly to Lukla and continue our journey to Mera Peak Base Camp via Pangkongma, Chhatra Khola and Khare until we reach the upper edge of the famous Khumbu region, home to some of the highest peaks in the world.
Summit the peak under the watchful supervision of our expert guide. In case the day is clear, you will enjoy stunning views from atop the peak, before heading down the same route.
Staying in Hotel Moonlight or similar on arrival in Kathmandu. Standard teahouses and tents will be used for accommodation during the trek. Please note that most teahouses only have shared toilet facilities. For tent accommodation, a four-season sleeping bag and a foam mattress will be provided. All accommodations in Kathmandu and in teahouses are on a twin-shared basis.
We can request for a single room in Kathmandu and during the trek (wherever possible) at an additional single supplement fee of USD 350 per person. However, single supplement during the trek will not be possible everyday since there are several teahouses along the trekking route that do not allow single room accommodation. At most, you will get single rooms only in lower-elevation areas.

Great service, amazing experience and great adventure in the mountains!! Gokyo Cho La Pass trek with this tour agency is highly recommended. The agency is an expert in Manaslu region, Karma made all the preparations very smooth. I am a solo traveler and he helped me to find a group. All the communication was very smooth and I always got quick answers. Despite the tight schedule, the agency managed to get all the permits, and we left for the trek the day after arriving in Kathmandu. Karma and Nima are knowledgeable, responsible and funny guide/supporter, who made sure we had the best experience during the trek:) We loved the nature, villages, mountain views. I would love to return to Nepal and explore new parts of this beautiful country with this company.

This trek was a perfect choice for a first introduction to the Himalayas and was great for a schedule that included more sightseeing around Nepal. My guide Dipak was very knowledgeable and flexible being able to cater the trip and make changes to improve as we went. The climb to Island Peak in 2017 was a great accomplishment for me. This was a very beautiful adventure arranged by the local operator. I trekked to Everest Base Camp and on the way back, I crossed the Kongmala Pass and went to Island peak from Chukung. The whole package was well organized, the guide was an experienced guy who trekked over 20 years in the Himalayas. I am very thankful to Upendra for arranging this holiday for me.
