It was a wonderful way to get a taste of four European cities: Amsterdam, Heidelberg, Lucern and Paris. our guide and our driver did a great job whisking us through the cities safely and enjoyably in about a week. We saw alot. I plan to visit each place again!
Wonderful trip! I strongly recommend several of the Optional Experiences to make the most of your time, including the sunset boat trip in Paris (you see the Eiffel Tower aglow!), walking tour of Hidden Venice, and walking tour of the Colosseum in Rome.
Be prepared to walk a lot (I hit 10-14k steps most days!) Be prepared for early mornings.
Join us for this fantastic 14-day private trip, where delicious food, inspiring wine, rich culture, and splendid art are on the menu!
Our stunning itinerary begins in Bordeaux, where we invite you to explore France’s ‘Petit Paris’ (little Paris) and the biggest urban World Heritage site in the world. Let yourself be seduced by some of France’s finest wines and inspired by the city’s incredible culinary scene! This voyage of the senses then takes you south, to the Basque Country (both French and then Spanish) where art, culture, and gastronomy are a fundamental part of the local tradition. Your cultural pilgrimage will culminate in Santiago de Compostela; Galicia’s capital known for receiving thousands of visitors every year, many of them, attracted to its ancient history and religious heritage.
Marvel at Gaudi’s masterpieces in Barcelona, spot locals sipping pastis in Nice and admire Florence the home of Michelangelo and the Renaissance, as you circle the azure waters of the Mediterranean. Embrace the city of Pisa with a stop at the famous leaning tower, where Italian astronomer Galileo was said to have pioneered his theories of gravity. In France, work up an appetite in the medieval streets. In Spain, dine with the locals in Basque tradition with an evening of San Sebastian pintxos tastings, snack-sized tapas, while sipping on a refreshing glass of local Txakoli wine. In Rome, taste the seasonal flavours and of course, handmade pasta.
From Amsterdam to Rome and onto Paris, this grand tour takes in Cinque Terre, abundant Florence sightseeing and a delectable Lucerne Dine Around evening. Start your tour with a curated cruise through the canals led by local experts—the perfect introduction to the Netherlands. Onwards in style into Germany, the Rhine's UNESCO world heritage sites give way to the golden city of Prague—where your local guide will lead you through the hilltop castle courtyards and the grandiose St Vitus Cathedral or through the Jewish Quarter. A tour of Italy serves up the gondola-filled canals of Venice and the opulence of Rome, before Swiss delights beckon in Lucerne. Paris dazzles last with a chance to shop the city's boutiques like a local and enjoy views of iconic sights, including Notre-Dame and the Louvre.
Some accomodation simple, with outlook onto courtyards, car parkss etc.

Good variety if wine tours and tastings.
Tour guide of Porto was patronising and glib.
It was so fun. Sorta expensive but we had a great group of people and had a really great time at all the places. They liek to take us to karaoke bars so we didn’t really get to any other cool bars but it was still very fun and u could leave if u wanted.
Overall a great time and out tour leaver was sooooo amazing.
We had a wonderful day together with Alfredo. Alfredo was the best guide ever!! He was excellent and was so fluent in english, he told us many interesting stories. He is an expert in Sicilian history and culture. he was both singing and dancing for us-we enjoyed it a lot. But most of all, he was such a service minded and understanding person. For example we were come minutes late in the morning and then we enjoyed the tour at the winery so much that we caused a delay in Alfredo's schedule but he was so humble and understanding. We highly recommend it to everyone travelling to Sicily.
See earlier comments. Good way to see a lot of territory. What we did get to were wonderful sites. *Personal details removed by Feefo* was very knowledge and made all the difference in making each excursion truly meaningful. We definitely saw the “highlights”.
Balkan Tour is the best introduction of the Balkan countries including Albania, Montenegro, Kosovo, and North of Macedonia.
During the tour, you will visit and discover the best hotspots of the countries. In Montenegro, you will visit the city of Kotor classified as Unesco World Heritage Site, the city of Budva, and the National Park of Biogradska. In North of Macedonia, you will have the opportunity to visit the most beautiful city, Ohrid, and the Cave of Gadime. In Albania, take a tour of an ancient site and two cities, which are listed as Unesco World Heritage Sites.
The seaside of Albania is another attraction for this tour as well. The tour of Albania also includes a wine degustation in the city of Berat.
Want to explore Tuscany without a rushed itinerary? Want a small group? Want to hike to wineries and hill towns? Stay in interesting hotels that are hundreds of years old? A wine and food buff? Then this is for you.
I had a great time on this trip. Had a full day in Sienna and a nice orientation tour of Florence (I spent a few extra days) Plus to get to visit lesser known towns that the big companies overlook. My favorite was Pienza. A nice little town that also had my favorite hotel and great places to eat. And yes, we tasted wonderful Italian wines, as well as the best cold cuts and cheeses I’ve ever tasted. And did I also mention hiking to wineries and hill towns? Wonderful sights, with spectacular views. One hike it rained towards the end, but that didn’t dampen our spirits.
Itinerary was very full of wonderful activities and sights to see! You're up and going early every day but it's well worth it to get going to be first in line ahead of the many other tour groups that follow.
