The holiday was very well organised from the moment that we were met at Venice Airport, until the trip ended. Our tour leader was very attentive and led with confidence , experience and knowledge. Excellent itinerary , I'm sure that we saw the best of the Dolomites. Would definitely recommend.
An exhilarating pilgrimage walk through northern Spain to the tomb of St James in Santiago de Compostela. This stage of the Camino pilgrimage route offers a fine balance of walks in spectacular natural settings with visits to inspiring cultural sites including the magnificent cathedral city of Leon. En route there are numerous reminders of the pilgrims past who travelled the route including crosses, statues and grain silos. In the valley of Ponferrada, O Cebreiro welcomes you to the gates of Galicia and leads you to the fabled Santiago de Compostela. Longer 17 and 18 day versions are also available.
Discover the Tuscan countryside and culture on this 8-day self-guided walking tour. Through the extensive footpath network of the area, roughly following the traces of the Via Francigena, one of Europe’s most important ‘highways’ in medieval times, you walk from village to village and experience a full immersion in the world-famous Tuscan landscape. The tour is perfect as an introduction to the region and a great choice for people who love museums, galleries and Gothic and Romanesque architecture. You have plenty of time to visit attractions on most of the days.
You will also have time to visit all the beautiful medieval villages and historic towns along the Via Francigena: starting from beautiful Lucca, you’ll pass through Fucecchio, San Miniato, Gambassi Terme, the stunning San Gimignano with its medieval skyscrapers and Monteriggioni, admired by Dante in his Divine Comedy. An optional detour can bring you to beautiful Colle Val d’Elsa and the tour ends in Siena, arguably the most perfectly preserved medieval town in Tuscany. This tour threads together some of the most attractive towns and villages in Tuscany in an eloquent procession.
However, the emphasis of the tour is to enjoy the countryside, the rolling vineyards, the poppies in spring and the wild cyclamen in autumn. The area north of Siena is an amazing landscape of rolling hills, alternating vineyards and forests, while cypresses line the way leading to the distant farmhouses. Walking here is an unforgettable experience and many of the views have barely changed for hundreds of years.
Accommodation and some meals are included. You spend a night in one of the best agriturismos in Tuscany, and the final night in the heart of Siena, in one of the most characteristic little hotels.
This is a moderately easy tour which is suitable for those who have some experience of walking and a good general physical condition.
We very much enjoyed the walk through the interesting and beautiful landscape of Galicia on the way to Santiago de Compostela. The combination of hiking and overnight stays in very pleasant and high Standard Hotels and Paradors left excellent memories on the Camino in our memories.
Get active in the Ionian Islands of Greece with the family on this fun multi-activity adventure. On board a two-masted wooden motor yacht, cruise the Ionian Islands along the west coast of Greece. From Corfu with its Venetian-style Old Town, the trip takes in the islands of Lefkas and Cephalonia. On Meganisi and Paxos, an island covered in olive trees and where time seems to have stood still, we gain an appreciation of traditional Greek island life. During the trip there is ample opportunity to explore the unique islands and coastal world by boat, kayak, bike and on foot. This family-friendly cruise offers flexibility with ample time for swimming, relaxing on the beach or on board, exploring sites and relaxing in tavernas. The level of activity each day is up to you. Our guide on board will offer advice and make suggestions and has plenty of knowledge about the fascinating history of Greece which they are always keen to share.
This is a wonderful walking/sailing holiday where you can see places in Turkey that you wouldn't see on a typical tour. It was amazing to be hiking and stumble across ancient ruins in many places -- and not see a single other person. I imagined that I was walking in the footsteps of Homer.
Good itinerary, skipper and sailing, port and swimming experience. Would not recommend doing it if on the Sauternes sailboat. Please resolve maintenance issues so it does not affect time, itinerary and feeling of safety. The focus of the trip should not be whether we can sail without problems with the vessel. Fuel, engine, smoke billowing from exhaust and leakage into cabins and hallways are not the type of experience I expect from G adventures.

We understand that there is more to wellness than meets the eye. Therefore, we have designed this itinerary with as much attention to spiritual enrichment as physical. Delve into sufism during a hiking trip in Mount Zerhoune and meet the musicians of Joujouka, known for their sufi trance performances
Since we want this trip to be ecologically friendly and sustainable in nature, we will prioritize reducing, reusing and recycling as much as possible. You will spend most of the nights in guesthouses and get plenty of opportunities to mingle with locals. For more details, please scroll down.
What an amazing Holliday we have had. Fresh back from a 6 day hiking holiday in Gran Canaria and absolutely buzzing from the experience.
Our group was mixed ability and Rosie and Ben were excellent at attending to the different needs of the group. Everything was so well planned, taking all of the hassle out and leaving us to thoroughly enjoy the breathtaking views and absorb the Canarian culture.
Rosie and Ben were fabulous guides and even more fabulous companions, giving us loads of laughs, lots of culture, a wealth of geological and botanical knowledge, and above all, a blossoming friendship.
It is honestly the best holiday I have ever had and I’m now planning another bespoke trip for my family with this tour operator. Can’t wait.
The Amalfi coast is gorgeous. If you like scenic views and delicious food, it's a must. Expect to get lots of steps in, as there are many opportunities for active travelers. Our CEO Shallal was the best guide, and even helped to coordinate an optional excursion to Capri (a must-see in my opinion) on a private boat. I came in a day early to hike up Mt. Vesuvius (not included, but I'd recommend if you have extra time before or after). A fun trip for this solo traveler!
