We absolutely loved the trip. the Hideaway was a beautiful place to stay right by the Turkish baths and the Amphitheatre. The staff were so helpful, the room clean and setting and food was fabulous. A great way to see Sicily away from the main tourist areas. There was some mud, some territorial dogs to get past and some stiff climbs often at the end of the day to hill towns. But our hosts and other people we met were very welcoming, the food was great and the scenery made the exertion worthwhile. We recommend this walk.

We decided in Alberobello not to do route walk that day as we wanted to explore Alberobello and there was flexibility to do so. Alberobello who dropped us saying our accommodation was 200 metres away and it was 800.

This was an excellent trip. I felt safe in all the areas where we stayed. The hotels were consistently well located so it was easy to go out and explore on your own. The guide gave us plenty of time at the sites we visited and was flexible and supportive in accommodating people’s needs and preferences. The guide was very knowledgeable and was able to explain Turkish history and culture. The guide was much more than a tour manager. An added bonus was the private bus. There was no time wasted waiting for public transport and it just made travelling long distances so much easier and more comfortable.
