We really enjoyed our trip. All information was clear so didn't have any questions. Walks not very hard. Amazing views. Decent hotels. Clean. We left in the morning and came back in the evening. Hotel in Agerolo was lovely. Public transport was very confusing in Amalfi. No clear information where the bus stops. We had to to push to get on the bus with the third attempt.
Nearly missed stop in Pompey as all windows were in white dots and could not see passing stations. No screen or announcement. Use Google Map. We met lots of tourists from around the world in towns and had interesting conversations. I wish we had more time in Pompei and regret that we didn't hire a guide. The trip was a good combination of nature, history, cuisine, culture and people. I have to say in the last stay in B&B in Naples the receptionist Italian lady was wonderful. She didn't speak English so we used Google translate and it was an interesting experience. She hugged and kissed us as we were her best nephews. Such a lovely lady. It was interesting to talk with Antonio in Agerolo hotel. Great experience. Love Italy.
The Via Degli Dei is a fantastic walk - 2 great Italian cities and stunning landscapes every day which made the tough climbs worthwhile. They dealt with everything once we arrived, the accommodation was good and varied which added to the appeal of the trip. It's helpful to have some basic Italian as a couple of places did not speak English but everyone was so friendly. Will use them again - we are already planning next year's trip!

A fab tour from Explore. Their tour leaders are always so passionate and enthusiastic and group sizes are not too big.
This trip allows you to experience the beauty and diversity of Albania and understand the ongoing political and economic struggles the country has been through with centuries of occupation by the likes of the Ottoman Empire, the Romans and then at the hands of Communist Communism. Albania is now able to show off its beauty and is increasing it tourism offering. A hidden gem.

My husband and I did the 8 day hiking trip in Andros Greece this fall. What a spectacular experience. The hiking was great and the accommodation was superior. We really loved it. And Leah, our contact, was excellent in helping us tack on and book 2 nights in Athens with transfers. Can't say enough about our holiday. Thank you!
Very well organised - excellent route instructions, bikes delivered on time and well set up. Accommodation of good standard throughout. Planning our next trip already!
We requested a customized combination of PUGLIA COASTAL WALK and WALKING IN PUGLIA in one trip and that was superbly done by Nicola and Chris! It turned out a very pleasant tour and we would strongly recommend to create a permanent itinerary. We enjoyed every minute of being in Puglia and every kilometer walking in Puglia. That was unforgettable. Choices of accommodations were exceptional with excellent and unique amenities and great supportive staff. Route Notes and GPX tracks made us very comfortable in finding the right way and seeing the right attractions and natural wonders. Chris' support and advice were invaluable. Overall we were very satisfied with this trip.
