We were looking for a customized, small group tour. We just returned from our trip and are more than highly pleased and satisfied of our experience. They planned an amazing itinerary, booked amazing hotels and transfers and tour guides went above and beyond to please us. We are already planning another trip next year and will be using these guys.

Trade the crowds of southern Tuscany for the wild, remote beauty of the Apuane Alps on the 'Walking in Tuscany's Apuane Alps' tour—a self-guided 8-day walking trip tailored for those who crave dramatic mountain scenery and genuine Italian hospitality. Starting in Tuscany and finishing in Lucca, this itinerary takes you from the small town of Fornaci di Barga into chestnut forests, across limestone massifs, and through vineyards to age-old hamlets.
Highlights include the ascent of Monte Forato, the exploration of Italy’s largest cave system at Grotta del Vento, and the option to summit Pania della Croce for panoramic views. Along the way, visit remote chapels and the serene hermitage at Calomini, all while enjoying the warm welcome of village residents who are eager to share their traditions.
Accommodations are cozy and limited to a maximum of two single rooms, ensuring an intimate experience. Meals and logistics are expertly handled so you can focus on the scenery.
The unique selling point of this trip is the chance to discover Tuscany’s untamed north—a region few tourists ever see—where mountain adventure meets local culture and tranquility.

Our family of 5 adults recently went to Italy on a 9 day trip to Venice, Rome and Sorrento(Amalfi Coast) with private tours, fast train travel, door to door drivers, and great accommodations; which was all set up by Michael.
Michael was very responsive to my communications, very helpful with trip suggestions to make the trip better, and just overall a great travel planner! I was nervous at first, because I have never completely booked a vacation online without ever meeting the travel planner, but it all worked out great!
We were completely happy with everything about our trip, and will definitely reach out to Michael again when we travel to Italy! There were a couple of small issues that arose over the duration of the trip, but they were handled quickly and without further problem to us. So all was good.
Our private tour guides in Rome, Ornella; and Roberta in Pompeii were incredible. Our Venice tour guide, Cynthia, was awesome too, she did a great job! We did a full day 8 hr tour in Rome of the Colosseum and Vatican, and I would recommend splitting that to two half days if you have the time. It was awesome, but a bit much for one day!! Also, we had a full day Amalfi Coast tour by van, with great driver Antonio, which was supposed to go to Positano, Amalfi, & Ravello, but because the traffic is so bad on the roads, there wasn't time to make it to Ravello. So, I recommend either going by boat, which we hear is faster, or allow more time if you want to see all three villages.
Again, a great trip for the memory books! Thank you MIchael and all of the local operators who worked to make our trip such a success!!
We went on the six Island tour and was by far the most enjoyable day on my holiday. It started with travelling along the stunning coastline, swimming in two beautiful locations in the clearest waters, followed by visiting two caves (both the blue and green caves) along the island's and finally visiting.
Can't recommend this trip more, and will be booking again when I next visit.
