This Greece Islands sailing adventure was so memorable! It exceeded all of our expectations, every day sailing to explore a different island and experience local culture and food as well as gain knowledge about the history and culture of the region. Our skipper CEO Mack was highly knowledgeable about the region and very passionate about sailing as well as sharing his knowledge and providing opportunities for each of us to learn and experience it for ourselves. Our only recommendation is for G Adventures to include more information about the need to pay in cash at restaurants and establishments in the Greek islands (Euros). We thought we would be using our credit card for dinners but learned we really needed to have cash instead.
This trip was fast paced, very active and jam packed but stunningly beautiful! I am not sure what i was expecting from Crete but it wasn't this, this was even better! We got to swim in crystal clear waters, hike the famous Samaria Gorge, as well as visit archaeological sites, it had a bit of everything.

Really impressed with how well everything was organised - seamless airport transfers and simple but very clean, spacious accommodation with staff that cater to your every need. The trip was well run and our guide was excellent. The walks were more challenging than we thought they would be. The itinerary suggests that some are leisurely hikes - not so! It also suggests that on one of the days we walk on a pebbled path- not so! We actually climbed over huge rocks on a steep ledge with a sheer drop to the right. It was more challenging than the itinerary suggests. However the trip was brilliant as we had total faith in our guide. Perhaps you could give clearer explanations .
