Explore Northern Corfu on foot along the Corfu Trail from Kalami to Pantokrator
Hike in diverse landscapes from groves to valleys, beaches, and cliff paths
Enjoy homemade meals and fresh local dishes in tavernas
The Corfu Trail South and North are great trips and the leader, Spiros in particular makes them a great experience. Accommodation can be a bit variable but always of a reasonable standard (Kalami only just). The only irritating point was that Explore would only provide an arrival transfer if I flew into Corfu airport and not from the ferry port (which is closer to the start). Not very sustainable! It was clearly a case of “rules are rules” and I suspect that the CEO would have thought it crazy that I had to fly in to get a transfer. Hopefully this rule will now change!
Great itinerary with pace matched to our mixed group of eight. Views and culinary pit stops planned along the way. Fabulous guide in Spiros who was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, humorous and passionate about the Corfu Trail and the local environment. Amazing first walking holiday experience
Tick off a true walker’s dream with this 8-day journey along the northern Corfu Trail. Designed for experienced travelers who relish a challenge, this guided walking tour covers the island’s most stunning landscapes—fragrant olive groves, dramatic cliff paths, and golden beaches. Hike from Liapades to the coastal village of Kalami, cross the Karst Plateau, and summit Pantokrator Mountain for panoramic views across to Albania.
Along the way, you’ll visit remote monasteries and hillside villages, refueling each evening with hearty Greek cuisine in local tavernas. The challenging activity level ensures rewarding days for those who love immersive, active travel.
The unique selling point? The combination of breathtaking vistas and authentic local encounters—few tours offer such a rich blend of natural beauty and traditional hospitality on one of Greece’s most beloved islands.
