Get closer to the royal family and visit the fabulous Castle of Windsor, built nearly 1000 years ago and lived in by every monarch we have had for nearly 800 years. Explore the stunning gardens, enter the fabulous staterooms, view the famous Queen Mary’s doll house and of course, enter the beautiful St George’s Chapel — the resting place of many monarchs including Queen Elizabeth II. Stand in the spot where Harry and Megan got married. On certain days you may even be able to watch the wonderful changing of the guard ceremony. This truly is the most wonderful Castle the UK has to offer. This tour is self-guided, with help from the structured audio tour and friendly staff inside. Our guide will tell you all the history before you enter and exactly how to explore and what to see when inside and will then be waiting for you at the exit at the agreed time.
We will stop for a one-hour lunch break in a traditional countryside English pub. Enjoy fish and chips with a pint or steak and ale pie with a cider. Whatever you wish to eat or drink.
Then we’ll walk and explore the world-famous, ancient spiritual wonder that is Stonehenge. Your guide will fully guide you around this marvel and teach all you need to know including when was it built, how was it built, and of course why it was built.
