The climb to Island Peak in 2017 was a great accomplishment for me. This was a very beautiful adventure arranged by the local operator. I trekked to Everest Base Camp and on the way back, I crossed the Kongmala Pass and went to Island peak from Chukung. The highlights of this tour are the 500 Asian one-horned rhinoceros and some hundred nocturnal Royal Bengal tigers that live in the dense forests of the park.
