He made the journey exciting and we didn't feel like the bus journey was boring due to his uplifting attitude and positivity! He was so passionate about Iceland and knew so much interesting information. Howsa's English was impeccable and his choice of words left us feeling like we were listening to an audio book!     Siggy was the kindest, most knowledgeable, most helpful tour guide. He knew Iceland and was kind and thoughtful to his customers. He stopped for bathroom breaks, made suggestions, asked our opinions and was so enjoyable. I would recommend him and this tour. We saw so much. Even though the tour started late we saw all the itinerary and more! One bonus was stopping to see a roundup of horses on the peninsula.

    The Golden Circle includes the greatest tourist attractions in Iceland, covering about 300 km looping from Reykjavík into central Iceland and back. Thingvellir landmark connects all the major events in the founding of the Icelandic commonwealth. It’s also considered the best place on earth to view the North Atlantic divergent ridge. Friðheimar farm and greenhouse will welcome you and introduce you to the Icelandic horse and locally grown tomatoes. Lunch (at your own expense) will be held in the greenhouse where you will have the possibility to purchase local products on the menu after a visit of the stables. Kerið is a striking crater-lake filled with milky blue-green water amid stark black and deep red slopes. Geologists now believe it to be a collapsed magma chamber at the end of a volcanic eruption that occurred more than 6,000 years ago. Another amazing stop will be done at Gullfoss Waterfall. Its impressive shape will take your breath away! Of course, we are always prepared for an extra stop or photo ops along the way. And if we’re lucky, we’ll get to pull over to feed any Icelandic horses at the side of the road.
