About 8 am, you will get out of Ho Chi Minh city center and travel through a traditional village to reach the Great Holy Temple in Tay Ninh. This temple is the center of the Cao Dai faith where you can find the “all-seeing” holy eye – the symbol of the Cao Dai religion – displayed above the entrance to the temple. Inside, you will have a fantastic experience by witnessing the midday ceremonies’ extravaganza, courtesy of the Cao Dai followers. Then, you will have time for lunch.
Afterward, your guide will take you to Cu Chi, a district of the city most famous for the 75-mile (121-km) network of underground passages built by the Viet Cong army. The Cu Chi Tunnels are one of the most popular historical attractions in Vietnam.
Before exploring the tunnels, you will be given several short introductions accompanied with an introductory video showing how the tunnels were built as well as how the local people survived amidst the difficult conditions during the war.
Next, you will have time exploring the areas within the tunnel system. Marvel at how the different facilities were built to meet the needs of those staying inside the tunnels – kitchens and bedrooms as well as field hospitals, storage, weapons factories, and command centers.
Moreover, you will also have time exploring many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps built within the complicated tunnels for the purpose of security during the war.
Then, you will be served a cup of special tea and cassava before trying the real shooting gun (optional - you pay the shooting fees yourself).
At 7 pm, you will be heading back to Ho Chi Minh City.
You will start the trip around 07:30 at Ho Chi Minh Center. Join in a 1.5-hour bus ride from the city, through a traditional village, to reach Cu Chi tunnels.
The Cu Chi Tunnels are one of the most famous historic sites in Vietnam. It is a huge network of tunnels connecting the underground that used to be the hideout for the military during the Vietnam War.
Upon your arrival, you will be given several short introductions accompanied by an video showing you the way the tunnels were built as well as the way local people survived in the serious conditions of the war.
Next, you will discover the remaining area and tunnel systems which consists of the stunningly built living areas featuring all the necessities such as kitchens, bedrooms and other manmade amenities such as field hospitals, storage, weapons factories, and command centers aiding anyone staying inside the tunnels.
Moreover, you will also have time to explore the many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the complicated tunnels built for the purpose of security during the war.
After that, you will be served a cup of special tea and cassava before firing a real gun.
Finally, you will be transferred back to Ho Chi Minh City and the trip ends around 2 pm.
Vietnam with intro was such an incredible experience thanks to our fantastic leader Michelle! Honourable mention to Jas and Tim as leaders-in-training who will be amazing. The whole trip was so enjoyable and engaging, and I genuinely cant remember the last time I had that much fun. Michelle was amazing in any scenario thrown her way, and nothing was ever too big of an issue to solve! I consistently felt so safe and reassured with the team. From cultural experiences of war tunnels and walking tours to incredible boat rides and fun nights out this has been one of the best holidays of my life. I would absolutely recommend to anyone solo travelling because you will meet such amazing people along the way. I wish I could do it all over again!

From the moment we landed to the second we waved goodbye, our experience with this tour operator was nothing short of spectacular. it truly felt like we were in the hands of friends who knew Vietnam inside out, from local SIM card tricks to the best money exchange spots. Booking a tour with a local company was a first for us, and it's something we'll definitely continue to do. Hotels were generally comfortable, and the meals were surprises of Vietnamese cuisine. The itinerary was well-balanced, giving us enough free time to explore on our own, One of the most memorable moments was the home-cooked meal in a local village, where we got to connect with the community on a personal level. It was an experience that was both enriching and humbling.
Vietnam cast its spell on us, and this Vietnam tour was the magic wand. It was more than just a honeymoon; it was a chapter of our lives written in the heart of Southeast Asia. Landing in Ho Chi Minh City, we were greeted by the knowledgeable guide who made the city's history as thrilling as a novel. His stories brought the landmarks to life, and his warmth made us feel like we had a local friend. Hanoi's Old Quarter was a delightful surprise, especially the markets and the Water Puppet Show. Guide was attentive, making our experience was nothing short of perfect. For a honeymoon that's a blend of guided exploration and personal discovery. TOP-NOTCH!!!

Our family's journey through Vietnam was absolutely magical, and a huge part of that was thanks to the team at our travel company. Our expert and his team were incredibly attentive, making sure our elderly parents were comfortable while keeping our 13-year-old son excited with stories of Vietnam's history. We hit a small snag with a hotel card in Hoi An, but it was sorted out quickly. Eric was incredibly responsive, always just a text away, and ready to help. The countryside tour in was a real highlight, not just for its stunning landscapes but also for supporting the local community, which is something we really appreciated. Our son loved the freedom of the bike tour around Hoi An, where every corner revealed a new story. The Hotel in Hanoi was fantastic. The company's commitment to our satisfaction was top-notch. We're already planning our next adventure with them and can't wait to create more family memories!

Every day was jam-packed with awesomeness. A special nod to our travel expert, who didn't just plan our trip but made it happen with style. His quick replies and round-the-clock support were the real MVP – seriously, saved us a ton of dough and hustle. Lodging was on point, especially our stays at the Lapis Hotel and Lasenta Hotel. Comfy beds, great views, and service that made us feel like VIPs. And our driver got us around with the smoothest of rides. Our guide, filled with facts, fun, and super friendly. The grub was special, especially that cooking class in Hoi An where we got to roll up our sleeves and mix it up with the local flavors. Those limestone cliffs in Ha Long Bay were great! This experience is just like a memory bank, and I'm withdrawals at the thought of it already!
