Your first destination is the home of a local family in Tam Coc. A traditional Vietnamese family with three generations living together, they will provide you with unique insights into Vietnamese culture and a chance to learn about their daily life.
Enjoy a bicycle ride around the village and see gorgeous paddy fields surrounded by limestone mountains. Have a traditional lunch involving local cuisines with the family before continuing your journey again. Explore Tam Coc, which resembles Ha Long Bay except that this in inland, by boat and soak up the beauty of limestone mountains and paddy fields all around.
The final destination of this trip is Hoa Lu, the 10th century capital of Vietnam. Visit the temple of King Dinh and learn more about Vietnamese history from your tour guide. Leave Ninh Binh at around 4:30 in the evening and drive back to Hanoi. We will drop you off at your hotel or accommodation in Hanoi's Old Quarter.

What more we can say... First time in Vietnam, and the whole experience was incredible. Vietnam was gorgeous in many aspects from nature to people. I was totally amazed by the spectacular view of the caves in Ninh Binh and Halong Bay, while my parents liked the Hue countryside tour. Vietnamese cuisine was excellent, from local street food to seafood buffets. We tried egg coffee, and it was so good, you must try it when traveling to Hanoi. We bought lots of souvenirs for our friends. We bought conical hats in the village, which was making them for a very long time, and we even saw the entire process of making them. We also recommend you to look at the products with mother-of-pearl decorations, you will be pleasantly surprised with the price for it. Thank you, travel specialist for making my visit memorable.

Michelle was amazing in any scenario thrown her way, and nothing was ever too big of an issue to solve! I consistently felt so safe and reassured with the team. From cultural experiences of war tunnels and walking tours to incredible boat rides and fun nights out this has been one of the best holidays of my life. I would absolutely recommend to anyone solo travelling because you will meet such amazing people along the way. I wish I could do it all over again!
