I had a fantastic time on this 20+ day adventure. I met a lot of really great people and saw a whole lot in a short amount of time. I feel like I can say that I?ve visited these places and maybe didn?t get the full experience of the place, but I got really close. Really good trip, with some very pleasant companions and an excellent guide, Fabio. He seems to have a sixth sense and is always aware of what is happening in the group. There is a lot of variety in the scenery and climate, and the combination of big cities and smaller towns works well. The cycling wasn't intense, but wasn't super easy either. It seems normal these days to have a mixture of e bikes and conventional, but it worked fairly well. The food was good and reflected the local cuisine. All in all a great trip!

Overall it was a great vacation. The tour leader (Matt) was professional, knowledgeable and funny. The coach driver (Alex) was great too. They worked well together and gave a constant calm feeling to our group. Our leaders had a few obstacles to overcome and they handled them without us ever needed to worry. A few suggestions from Matt made our trip even better. We ate with different people each night, we rotated seats and made friends for a life time. Life changing experience.

It was a great route with lots to places to stop along the way. So much good food, and all the accommodation was wonderful. Some of the roads were a bit busy for my liking, not sure if I would be comfortable taking children on those roads but for adults it was fine. A very enjoyable week- a highlight of our month in Italy!

This tour was a welcome change from the fast paced touring of the big cities. We became familiar with the topography and vegetation as we hiked daily, also visiting towns known for wines and cheeses. The town of Chianciano provided a magnificent backdrop to our accomodation of Agriturismo La Pietriccia. We were awakened every morning to the rooster crowing. Stefano was an attentive and knowledgeable host. Plenty of food was served at the 4 course suppers. I feel this tour was necessary to complete my knowledge of the culture of Italy!
