This is a high quality three-day private guided trip for two to six people that will take you across historic sites, buildings, museums, and castles in France. The main highlights of the tour include Mont Saint-Michel, D-Day landing sites in Normandy, and three top castles of the Loire Valley. We will also go on city sightseeing tours of Normandy's capital Rouen and the medieval habor city of Honfleur.
The trip has been designed to offer insights into French architecture, culture and history. We will be traveling in a comfortable vehicle (Mercedes E220 business class car for 2–3 people or Mercedes minivan for 3–7) that travels faster than bus, giving us more time to explore various sights and attractions. We can also customize the trip based on your personal preferences.
The schedules were good only suggestion I would give I during summer when day temp can touch 35C have the day schedules a bit later, e.g in Rome the city walk tour starts at 3pm, rescheduled that for a bot later say 5.30pm, I suppose everyone in our group will agree considering the fact that there are women and children in the tour. This is good feedback and it can be considered for the future.

Sample fine wines in 13th century cellars and enjoy lunch in a selection of medieval towns including world-renowned Nuits-St-Georges. Walk the historic streets of Dijon and Beaune, hunt for truffles, taste local cheese in a rural manufactory, learn about blackcurrant liquor and enjoy a wine tasting at the majestic wine estate Chateau Clos Vougeot.
In this region known for its epicurean finesse, you can really enjoy fine dining. There will be excellent local dishes such as Beef Bourguignon, Oeufs en Meurette, Poulet de Bresse a la Creme, Perche aux Noix and of course exquisite cheeses like the pungent Epoisses de Bourgogne, to pair with the region's incredible Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines.

Brilliant cycling holiday, with a fantastic group. Erwin , our leader made sure we were all happy, arranged accommodation, transport , evening meals and the cycling route. The bikes were excellent, cycling paths mostly traffic free or very quiet roads. Highly recommend this Explore cycling adventure.

What a wonderful e-bike and barge tour from Paris to Epernay. Highly recommend. The conduct of this tour was professional in every way. The scenery so beautiful, the guides so knowledgeable and expert in their roles and the Zwaantze barge itself a wonderful barge to call home for such a tour ably managed by the captain Bart and his team. We loved the experience. Also second tour we have been on the Zwaantze as we did the Bruges to Amsterdam bike and Barge tour in 2018. These tours are wonderful ways to travel and enjoy being active at the same time.

Good cycling on varied terrain; canal path for first day; country roads, cycling by the sea, dirt tracks, sandy tracks, woodland paths, all doable and fun. Lovely scenery, lots of history, beautiful old buildings and D-Day beaches Omaha and Juno and the museums to bring it to life. Very moving.
