Puglia was beautiful. They did a great job of coordinating bikes, luggage, and routes. The lodging was great for our 7 night stays, except for 1 night, when our group was split into 2 different hotels that were not very close with no advance warning.

I strongly recommend several of the Optional Experiences to make the most of your time, including the sunset boat trip in Paris (you see the Eiffel Tower aglow!), walking tour of Hidden Venice, and walking tour of the Colosseum in Rome. Be prepared to walk a lot (I hit 10-14k steps most days!) Be prepared for early mornings.

The rooms were a bit small, but they were clean and cozy. Some in our group didn't love the hotels, but I found them quite comfortable. The transport vehicles were new and comfortable as well. The tour was so meticulously planned.Camile was an incredibly professional and warm guide, and Pierre was a careful driver.

The captain and expedition team really pushed the limits to ensure that we visited as many interesting places as possible and saw a wide range of scenery and ecosystems. The crew were very friendly and helpful, and the expedition team was extremely knowledgeable and experienced in both the Arctic and Antarctic. The ship was very comfortable with a fantastic library and other good facilities, and our cabin was wonderful - peaceful, comfortable and beautifully furnished.
