Walking on this holiday is varied and well within most people's grasp. Aside from the rolling hills of Prosecco vineyards it includes forest walking and following along side a river. The hotel is most comfortable with large airy bedrooms and updated bathrooms which do not detract from the historic building. It sits within its own grounds including a large swimming pool and a bookable spa. The village of Soligo is small with 3 cafe's and a small shop which stocks a wide range of biscuits, soft drinks and bottled water. There is one sure thing about this holiday and this is you will not go hungry. Lunches are freshly made by the local shop and will keep you going during the walks. The hotel food is second to none and the other resturants we eat at also supplied delicous food. The highlight of this trip is Prosecco in all its forms. I learnt a lot about how the wine was made and how to tell one bottle from another.

Greek Island Wanderer was just as described in the itinerary. Every day was fun packed and busy. The hikes we did were amazing but there was always an alternative if you didn't feel like hiking. Wonderful trip with our guide Lisa. The itinerary was good, but many long bus rides-which is necessary to cover mainland Greece and get in as much as we did in 7 full days. Would have loved to have an overnight stay in Nafplio. Enjoyed staying in hotels within walking distance to the towns-made it really easy to just go during free times. The dinner buffets at the hotels were not my favorite but understand why since a couple nights we were getting into the hotels late due to traveling. Kalabaka and Meteora were a highlight for me. The Olive Farm and Cooking night were wonderful. Both the Santorini and Mykonos stays were wonderful. The optional catamaran excursion on Santorini was great.

The low season Amalfi Coast walking holiday is highly recommended. The tour leader Matteo was knowledgable and enthusiastic about his home town and villages and made the whole area come to life with his local inside knowledge of the history, the people, and the walking routes. We got to explore and visit most of the 13 towns and villages on paths, many many steps and also using some public and private buses. In the early season we saw hardly any other walkers or tourists, making for easy walking and visiting, with spectacular views of the coast and valleys. The tour was well organised, with easy booking and good communication from the team. The hotel was comfortable and the planned itinary was interesting with walking that was sometimes a little challenging with lots of up and down hill, but at an achieveable pace, broken up with many facts about the area and time to explore.
