Perfect vacation! We were traveling in a small group (two couples) and enjoyed private tours at each location. We were always greeted in each new city and the accommodations were 1st class. We had an absolutely incredible time in Peru thanks to these guys. We arrived in Lima and visited Huacachina, Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain. We decided to include a city tour of Cusco instead of the Humantay Lake hike as this would have been to strenuous for one of our friends, and this decision was perfect. It was a great recommendation by Erik who helped us with our itinerary. During our time in Peru, Pilar was exceptional with 24/7 assistance, helping us make reservations in restaurants and being there for us no matter what. Superb!
All the sites visited were worth it. Not too many people (except from Machu Picchu which was very crowded of course) and what we loved was that we arrived before the crowds. The company promised big time on that and they OVERDELIVERED! We were all so happy. 5 stars and all the best for you!

This was the best tour that we have ever done before. We can highly recommend the experience to: the best of Machu Picchu, Cusco and Amazon in seven days. This one-day, group tour takes you to one of the most beautiful water bodies in the Cusco region. Your day starts early as we pick you up from your hotel at 4:10 am to start this amazing adventure. Drive out of the city to Mollepata, which takes around two hours. This is also where your breakfast and lunch are scheduled today.
Resume the journey after breakfast in Mollepata. It takes one more hour to reach Soraypampa. A short break in Soraypampa is followed by a two-hour ascent on foot. Your hike comes to an end high up in the Peruvian Alps, where melting glaciers feed into a glistening, turquoise body of water perched atop a hill.
You have approximately 40 minutes to enjoy the beauty of the majestic Humantay Lake, located 4,200 m above sea level, before we start our journey back to Cusco. The drop-off will be arranged at Cusco city centre (San Francisco Square) between 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm unless you have booked this trip as a private tour, in which case we will drop you off at the hotel.

Enjoy the best places of the Sacred Valley of the Incas in a Private Tour. Our representative will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 am and drive you through the mountains on the way to Pisac. We will stop along the way at a viewpoint from which you can enjoy great views of the valley.
Once in Pisac, you can wander through its famous artisan market as well as its archaeological centre before it is time to continue to the town of Urubamba, where we will stop for an amazing buffet lunch in a nice tourist restaurant.
Next on the itinerary is the famous archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, known for its ruins of a massive Inca fortress. Learn more about the history of this place from your tour guide before we return back to Cusco with a stopover at Chinchero, a town known for its weavers as well as Inca ruins.

Initially before booking the trip I thought it was extremely overpriced.
However(our tour guide) was fantastic. He made the trip worth every penny and was extremely organised and knowledgeable. The locations were great, and the activities were really cool.
was a fantastic character, and became a friend by ensuring we all had fun. He looked after and catered for everyone’s needs and requirements, promoting safety above all else, and more than once went the extra mile to ensure we all had a great time (joining myself at CrossFit and his traditional dance moves were personal highlights).
I hope he gets the recognition he deserves, as I would love to book a similar trip with Contiki in future because of this great experience.
I would also recommend that you include huacachina in future - I went there on my own and it was one of the coolest experiences - maybe this could be added as an extra at the beginning of the trip.
