Lynn, our tour guide, met us in our hotel lobby promptly as planned and we headed for our day trip to Hangzhou. We had an easy transfer to the Station. Lynn explained everything and took care of getting us through the security check in and ticketing process. The train ride was very nice. We were met by another driver after the train ride, and we headed to the West Lake area. Lynn was wonderful throughout and answered all our questions and told us about the history of the area during our drive, boat tour and visit to the tea tasting. We even had some time to walk around the city center and do a little shopping before heading back. Overall, a really nice experience for our family! Lynn did an excellent job from start to finish and we would definitely recommend!!

Take the coach from Hangshan city to the Huangshan Scenic Area. If the number of members in your group is less than ten, you will be sharing a coach with Chinese tourists but with an English-speaking tour guide by your side. Arrive at the entrance of Mount Huangshan between 08:30 am to 09:00 am and take the shuttle bus to Yungu Cable Car Station. You have the option of taking the cable car to the top of the mountain (own expense: CNY80 per person each way). However, in case you do not want to go for this option, you can walk your way to the top of the mountain, which takes around two and a half hours. Admire the beauty of stunning peaks around you upon reaching the top. See White Goose Peak, Begin to Believe Peak, Black Tiger pines and Lion Peak among other natural landmarks.
