day 1 - Shanghai to Mount Huangshan

Get ready early in the morning as our driver will come to your hotel in Shanghai to pick you up at 07:00. Take the 08:42 bullet train and arrive in Huangshan at 13:15 in the afternoon.

Meet your local guide at the arrival hall. He will take you directly to Mount Huangshan by private transport. It takes about an hour from the station to the foot of Mt. Huangshan.

Enjoy a stunning journey up the mountain in a cable car. Once you are out of the cable car station, take a 30-minute walk to the hotel, passing Black Tiger and Dream Flower pines on the way. Climb the Beginning to Believe Peak and explore the Mushroom Pavilion. Then enjoy the sunset at the Cloud Dispelling Pavilion.

You will be provided with a hearty dinner once you return to your hotel.

day 2 - Mt Huangshan – Hong Village – Shanghai

Get up early to see the magnificent sunrise. Its best to enjoy the dawn at the Refreshing Terrace. Find the perfect spot with the help of your local guide.

Breakfast will be ready by the time you are done with it. After that, go out on a walk to see important landmarks in the area, like Lion Peak, Dawn Pavilion, Stone Monkey Watching the Sea and the famous pine trees that dot the surrounding.

Walk to the West Sea Grand Canyon, which is one of the most popular sites in Mt Huangshan. Afterwards, enjoy a buffet lunch before going on a long hike to the Hong Village.

The Hong Village is a charming, ancient village with a history of over 800 years. It is also the best place to see the original Hui architectural style . Enjoy a free time in the village and get a chance to browse through stalls selling local handcraft and souvenirs.

Once the trip is over, the guide will take you to the station where you will catch a bullet train back to Shanghai. Upon arrival in the Shanghai station, you will find a driver waiting to take you back to your hotel.
