day 1 - Arrive in Beijing
Upon landing in the airport in Beijing, you will find your tour guide waiting for you outside the customs area. Transfer to your hotel. You have the rest of the day for yourself. Relax in the hotel. Go out on a stroll of the Chinese capital city if you want to.
day 2 - Beijing highlights tour
Take a trip to the world-famous Tian'anmen Square. Your next destination for this morning is the Forbidden City. Sit down for an a la carte lunch at a fine-dining establishment that serves authentic Chinese food. Explore the Temple of Heaven in the afternoon.
day 3 - Great Wall tour
After breakfast, you will visit the astonishing Mutianyu section of Great Wall by taking the round-trip cable car in the morning. Lunch is not provided today. You may ask your guide for suggestions on good restaurants nearby.
On the way back to downtown, we will drive by the Bird's Nest and stop over there for a while so that you can take some photos.
day 4 - Beijing - Xi'an by high-speed train
Visit the well-preserved Summer Palace and enjoy a hutong rickshaw tour. Then head to Xi'an by a high speed train. Our private transfer will take you to the hotel.
day 5 - Terracotta Army Museum
Your Xian travel starts with the world-famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. The excavated artefacts include warriors, horses, chariot, bronze, swords, spears, halberts and many others.
Visit the Provincial History Museum and the time-honored Great Mosque. Then extend your journey to the lively Muslim Street, where you can take a leisurely walk or purchase some fancy gifts for your families or friends.
day 6 - Xi'an tour & fly to Guilin
This morning our guide will take you to the City Wall of Xi'an. You can rent a bicycle to ride around on the wall if you want to. Afterwards, our guide will show you Xi'an Museum and the Small Wild Goose Pagoda.
Around noon, we will take you to a local Chinese family for a home-cooked lunch. You will also get the chance to learn to cook your favorite Chinese dishes with the host. Head for the. airport and hop on the flight to Guilin after that. Upon your arrival, our local guide will expect you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel.Transfer to your hotel on landing in Guilin.
day 7 - Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo
Appreciate the sceneries along the Li River while cruising from Guilin to Yangshuo. Disembark at Yangshuo to enjoy the rural beauty of the place. Get the chance to visit a local villager's home and learn more about the life of the people there. Next visit the West Street and then transfer back to Guilin.
Note: The lunch served on the cruise today is a simple Chinese box lunch.
day 8 - Guilin tour & fly to Shanghai
Visit the brilliant Reed Flute Cave, the Palace of Natural Arts, Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill, the emblem of the city. Then you will take a flight to Shanghai where our private transfer will take you to the hotel upon landing.
day 9 - Shanghai city tour
Visit the Shanghai Museum and the Yu Garden in the morning. Enjoy your lunch at a well-known local restaurant, which offers veritable Shanghai and Cantonese cuisines. After enjoying the terrific lunch, you will take a short cruise trip on the Huangpu River. Then you will have some free time to explore the Bund area. Afterwards, you will visit an old street in the city. Have some free time and take a leisurely walk there.
day 10 - Shanghai departure
