I did Everest base camp trek in the month of April 2023 with the support of this local travel specialist and it was one of my favorite treks. The view of the mountains were incredible throughout the journey. Most importantly view from Kala Patthar view point was spectacular. Overall my Everest base camp trek was remarkable.
The trek in the Fann Mountains was a stand out. I would do it again despite it pushing me to my limits at times. It was like stepping into a fantasy novel- the colours, the remoteness and to my eyes the strangeness as well as the mountainous glories. The guides, cooks, porters were very supportive and I felt safe at all times. The food was excellent- even though everyone managed to get sour stomachs- it was maybe the strangeness factor. Cultural visits also well curated.

I booked this trek at quite short notice in September 2018.
My schedule was a bit tight so I had to cut the trip short from the standard 12 days down to 11, but this was no problem for Friends adventure who were able to fit the trek in plus an extra day of whitewater rafting as well.
Hira, my guide, was very helpful, knowledgable and friendly and made sure everything went to plan, so that I managed to make it to Base Camp and Kala Pathar as well (and I'm an unfit 50 year old who hadn't really done enough training).
The trek itself was spectacular and everything I'd hoped it would be.
I would definitely recommend Friends Adventure to anyone planning a trip to Nepal.

Trekking through Upper Mustang was one of the best experiences of my life. The landscapes were the most breathtaking I’ve ever seen, and the cultural experience—monasteries, villages, and local traditions—was unforgettable.
My guide, Rammesh, was absolutely amazing. He was knowledgeable, caring, and made the trek feel smooth, safe, and deeply meaningful. I can’t imagine a better guide.
I had a beautiful experience during 16 days in Kathmandu and trekking to EBC with this local travel specialist. Since the pickup at airport, support with hotel , gear shopping’s. My guide Kumar was also excellent and very professional, I couldn’t made it successfully without him and all support provided. We had an excellent time trekking to EBC. This tour company was very helpful and friendly pre and post trek. Our guide was very knowledgeable and worked very hard to make sure everything went smoothly (organizing the trek accommodation, helping with the flight and helping with each meal). My boyfriend and I decided to do this trek and jump straight in the deep end with not much trekking experience let alone at altitude.
We couldn't have been happier with Dawa our guide and Ravindra our porter. Right from our pickup at the airport all the way through to our final dinner in Kathmandu, we were always looked after so well. Dawa was also very experienced and knew a lot about the circuit as well as the history and culture of Nepal. We learnt so much and are so pleased we this trek.

This was my third trip with G Adventures. The Cambodia & Thailand adventure was another amazing, unforgettable trip. Our CEO, Chan, was terrific. He worked so hard but also made it look so easy to keep us on schedule while arranging so many transports, activities and meals during our trip.
