We pick you up in the wee hours from your hotel and bring you to the milder climates at 1200 meters above sea level. From here, we'll embark on a 1.5 to 2-hour hike to the top of Mount Batur, from where we'll see the sunrise. Enjoy the magnificent views of the red sky.
Next, we take a walk around the rim of the volcanic cone to see the crater of the last eruption. This volcano is still active so let's be cautious! Descending from the crater, we head back down to the black lava, which originally flowed down during the first and second eruptions.
We'll enjoy our breakfast on the top of the volcano before we journey down the mountain. The trip down is just as challenging as up, but this time you get to see the surrounding panorama.
