A beautiful valley hike through forest at lower levels then up above the treeline with views of Langtang peaks and Nyakanga. Most people do this trek in 5 days but being older (l66 & 71) we organized it to do in 8 days which worked well. It provided for a nice pace and a chance to really experience the Tamang culture.

Great service, amazing experience and great adventure in the mountains!! Gokyo Cho La Pass trek with this tour agency is highly recommended. The agency is an expert in Manaslu region, Karma made all the preparations very smooth. I am a solo traveler and he helped me to find a group. All the communication was very smooth and I always got quick answers. Despite the tight schedule, the agency managed to get all the permits, and we left for the trek the day after arriving in Kathmandu. Karma and Nima are knowledgeable, responsible and funny guide/supporter, who made sure we had the best experience during the trek:) We loved the nature, villages, mountain views. I would love to return to Nepal and explore new parts of this beautiful country with this company.

Just completed the Gokyo Lakes, Gokyo Ri, Cho-La and EBC treks with this local travel expert and had an unforgettable experience. Throughout the whole process Chhatra was an impressive communicator - very responsive, simple, clear and informative. Our guide (Rinji) and porter (also Rinji !!) were incredibly flexible in helping us make the impossible, possible - whilst always looking out for our health and wellbeing. I cannot more highly recommend this agency for your Himalaya adventure - the whole team was truly incredible - experienced, knowledgable and well connected to all the best places to stay along the way. All personnel were knowledgeable with the ability to adjust for our specific conveniences. Our Tour Guides, Drivers and all local responsible parties were carefully selected for our information, safety and confidence.
Hotels, were all very comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. Clean, modern and with sumptuous dining servings.
For budget bookings on Air India, it was not short of comfort and security.

Best of Japan - July 2026

I loved this tour, not just for the beautiful sights but for how much I learned. Japan is so different from North America in terms of culture, manners, even how people move through a city. I found it fascinating.
The tour guide didn’t just take us from place to place. He taught us about Shinto traditions, post-war history, Japanese etiquette (like how to bow or take off your shoes in homes), and more. I felt like I came home not just with photos, but with a better understanding of the world.
We saw cherry blossoms, temples, even deer in Nara Park. Hiroshima moved me deeply. The whole trip was emotional and eye-opening, but in the best way.
I’m 66, and this tour was easy on the body and stimulating for the mind. What more could you ask for?

Going valley in the morning over 4000m was severe coldness in winter because no sunshine due to surrounding mountains and wind. (Dingboche to Lobche)
It might be better to add 1 more layer, considering the weather.
Since a bit earlier than year end holiday, I could spend more quiet time.
On the way to back, I met more people who were going up.
Mr Bibek, the guide was knowledgeable and explained the mountains.
He was good advisor also for health conditions but you should know yourself first.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek - July 2026

We had a great time trekking to Annapurna Base Camp, our guide and porters were professional, friendly and always sorted us out. It rained a lot - so if you're going in the monsoon, be aware and bring lots of waterproofs! We saw beautiful views and incredible scenery when the clouds cleared, however, which made it all worthwhile. The trek is of medium difficulty, with a lot of stone stairs to climb and descend, so be fit and invest in good boots and poles!
