We were very happy and impressed with the experience we received on this trek. When we arrived in Kathmandu there was heavy rains and flooding that disrupted normal travel to the Everest region. Yet, this tour operator did an amazing job at organizing everything for us so that we didn’t miss anything and started on time. Our guide Pasang Tamang was amazing and friendly, and he did a fantastic job communicating with us and keeping us safe. Very highly recommend, and I hope to go on another trip with Pasang again.

My 2 week group trip through Vietnam was nothing short of life changing. What started as an adventure with strangers quickly turned into a journey filled with friendships, laughter, and unforgettable experiences. From the bustling streets of Hanoi to the serene mountains of Sapa, every single day was packed with incredible activities and meaningful moments that will stay with me forever.
It’s amazing how 2 weeks can transform a group of complete strangers into a tight-knit family. We bonded over shared experiences, late-night conversations, and laughter that echoed through every city we visited. Whether we were learning to cook traditional Vietnamese dishes in Sapa or hiking through the misty mountains of Sapa, every moment felt special because we experienced it together.
But none of this would have been possible without Chris. From the moment we met him, it was clear we were in the hands of someone truly passionate about Vietnam. His enthusiasm was contagious, and his knowledge of the country—its history, culture, and local traditions—added so much depth to our experience. He didn’t just show us the typical tourist spots; he led us through hidden gems that most travelers never get to see.
The activities were absolutely amazing. The cooking class in Sapa complete with the best view was a highlight—learning how to make fresh spring rolls and other local dishes from local chefs, followed by a delicious meal that we all shared together, felt so authentic. But the real adventure came in Sapa. Trekking through the terraced rice fields with the mist rolling in, we were surrounded by breathtaking views that seemed straight out of a postcard.
Throughout the trip, Chris was more than just a leader—he became a friend to each of us. His sense of humor, care, and genuine passion for his country made every experience more meaningful. Whether it was cracking jokes during long bus rides or patiently helping us navigate new environments, he made sure we felt supported and safe at every step of the way.
By the time we reached our final destination, it was hard to believe that only two weeks had passed. What started as a group of strangers became a circle of friends with memories we’ll cherish forever. The friendships I made on this trip, along with the activities and experiences that were curated so thoughtfully, made this Vietnam adventure one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Participants came from different parts of the world & their ages covered a wide range, which offered the opportunity for cultural & personal exchanges throughout the trip. The sights & experiences offered were fascinating &, at times unique, despite & sometimes because of the heavy rain. I went solo in low season (Jan) and it was amazing! It was cold at night, but i had the trail and all of the lodges to myself. That's how I like it. If you prefer a more solitary experience, this is the time to do it. Also, blue skies the entire time. I did 12 days that included Poon Hill and Anapurna Base Camp. Ramesh was my guide and he was the best! He really knows his stuff took care of everything. Such a great person too. I had been wanting to do this for 20 years and I was not disappointed. Seriously the trip of a lifetime. This outfit was recommended to me by word-of-mouth, and I'm telling everyone who will listen to come to Nepal and get into the mountains with these guys!

I did Everest base camp trek in the month of April 2023 with the support of this local travel specialist and it was one of my favorite treks. The view of the mountains were incredible throughout the journey. Most importantly view from Kala Patthar view point was spectacular. Overall my Everest base camp trek was remarkable.
An awesome vacation that I waited decades to experience. G Adventures Nat Geo Journeys did not disappoint. Loved visiting the yak herder's family, meeting the camel herder and his family, and having lunch in the ger of the lovely retired nurse living on thr outskirts of Ulanbataar. So blessed to have the experience of being invited inside their ger.
