This private bicycle trip is part of our new long-distance cycling programs for the year 2020. Be part of this exciting, three-day adventure to discover the beautiful scenery that South Lombok has to offer as you pedal from Mataram to Pink Beach.
Lombok has great roads with little or no traffic, which makes it perfect for long-distance cycling. During this guided tour, we will travel through small, paved coastal and mountain roads all along the south of the island.
This trip is not technically difficult but requires a good stamina to fully enjoy the 220 km that we will cover in three days. Please note that we can pick you up at the airport in on Day 1 if you were to arrive in one of the first flights of the day. However, the pickup can also be arranged from Mataram or Kuta Beach (the pickup from these two places is scheduled between 7:00 am and 7:30 am). On Day 3, we can drop you off at Lombok airport (ETA 5:00 pm) or Kuta Beach (ETA 5:00 pm).
Please scroll down to the itinerary section for more details.

This biking safari adventure takes you, at first, for a thrilling ride around the Kathmandu valley. As you ride up and down the hills and adventurous trails on your mountain bike, the beautiful Himalayas dominate the skyline. And then, the trip takes you to Chitwan National Park. Lonely Planet, the largest travel guide book publisher, says it is “one of the best wildlife-viewing national parks in Asia”.
You begin your biking adventure by paddling from Kathmandu. Enjoy riding in the bustling city and then start a challenging ride to Kakani, a quiet town atop a ridge. The hill station offers mesmerizing views of the Himalayan ranges from Annapurna to Everest (weather permitting). Ahead is a 9-km single track, known as “Scar Road”, which runs through Shivapuri National Park. In the trip, you will get lots of opportunities to ride in challenging trails. On Day 3 while biking from Shivapuri village to Chisapani, you will ride on a single biking trail known as “30 Minutes of Heaven”.
From Chisapani, cycle to Nagarkot, which is another popular hill station offering the breathtaking sights of the snow-white peaks. The major attraction of staying overnight at Nagarkot is the sunrise in the morning. Wake up before dawn and go out on the balcony. You will be amazed at the scenery. The sun rays light up the Himalayan mountains and turn them from white to red and gold.
From Nagarkot, ride for 5 km along a ridge at first. You will pass through beautiful towns that have preserved their cultures well and have distinct medieval look. They are Panauti and Dhulikhel, both of which are Newari towns. You will stay at Dhulikhel today. The next morning’s ride will take you from Dhulikhel to Banepa via the sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site, Namobuddha. From Banepa you will be picked up and driven back to Kathmandu. You will pass through a giant statue of Shiva, one of the significant Hindu gods along the way.
When the biking tour ends, the safari adventure begins. Take a drive to Chitwan National Park. At the park, you will do lots of activities such as elephant safari, canoeing, jungle safari, visit to elephant breeding centre and watching wildlife. You will get to watch some of the rare wild birds and animals and plants.

We started in Delh with Mr Manooj as a guide and Mr Deepak as a driver. Both spoke English well and our guide was knowledgable and flexible with our tour. On-time pick up at out hotel. Keeping us safe and allowing us to see the sights was well done by Mr Manooj. We enjoyed our day tour. The next day we traveled to Agra with Mr Deepak and met our second guide Mr Chandel who's English was equally as good and his knowledge of the Taj Mahal enhanced our experience. Again our guide was flexible in our tour agenda. I would have liked a breakdown of what the day tour would entail but I could have asked too. Would recommend this company and BOTH guides.
This tour was a wonderful combination of culture, nature, and calming moments on the water. The regional cuisine was excellent. Our trip advisor was attentive and conversational, entertaining all questions with knowledge and patience. It was my first solo tour as an elder tourist and the value and length was a good experience to get my feet wet. The region and people were great and the facilities and transportation were excellent.
My private tour to Great Wall of China and to Forbidden city was arranged in a perfect way starting from the airport pick-up till the final hotel drop-off. Enjoyed the trip to the fullest and would definitely plan another trip through this local travel specialist in the future.

Join us for a relaxing boat trip around Bentota, the resort town on Sri Lanka's southwest coast.
The boat goes up the Bentota River along the beautiful mangrove banks. As you ride, spot the water monitors, various kinds of birds, and, with a bit of luck, a crocodile in the wild. Birds in the area include kingfisher, bee-eater, egrets, eagles, fruit bats, cormorants and others.
The boat will stop at a home garden where you will be given a demonstration of the coir industry, after which you can enjoy a tea or coffee and some fresh local fruit. If time permits, on the way back the boat will travel to the river mouth, a picturesque place perfect place for nature and photography enthusiasts.
Choose a morning or afternoon departure time. The insured boats hold a twin-engine and are large and comfortable with an overhead cover/canopy. They come prepared with life jackets, raincoats and first aid kits.
Combine two of Nepal’s most iconic experiences—trekking in the Everest region and wildlife adventures in Chitwan—on this immersive 12-day tour. Perfect for travelers seeking both mountain majesty and lowland jungles, this journey offers a unique blend of cultural exploration and natural discovery.
Your adventure begins with a spectacular mountain flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. From there, trek through the scenic Khumbu Valley, stopping at traditional Sherpa villages like Phakding and Namche Bazaar before reaching Tengboche Monastery, one of the oldest and most revered monasteries in the Himalayas. Enjoy breathtaking Himalayan panoramas and, if the weather is clear, catch stunning views of Mount Everest. This trek is ideal for those with limited time who still want to experience the essence of the Everest region and the warm hospitality of the Sherpa people.
After returning to Kathmandu, your journey continues south with a scenic drive to Chitwan National Park, Nepal’s premier wildlife sanctuary. Spend two nights immersed in jungle activities—elephant safaris, canoe rides, bird watching, and nature walks—led by experienced naturalists.
Chitwan National Park spans 932 square kilometers and is home to an extraordinary diversity of wildlife, including the rare one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tiger, sloth bear, wild elephants, leopards, striped hyenas, and even freshwater dolphins. With over 500 species of birds and rich reptile, butterfly, and aquatic life, your chances of wildlife sightings are high.
Conclude your adventure with a drive back to Kathmandu along the scenic Trishuli River valley.
This thoughtfully designed itinerary offers the perfect balance of Himalayan culture and tropical wilderness—two sides of Nepal in one unforgettable journey.
