The 2D1N Sapa Trekking Tour with Local Homestay Experience invites young adults and experienced travelers to reconnect with nature and local culture in the heart of Sa Pa. Start your adventure with a scenic bus ride from Hanoi, arriving to a warm welcome and a traditional Vietnamese lunch in Sapa town.

The journey continues as you trek through terraced rice paddies and along the Muong Hoa Stream, visiting Lao Chai’s Black Hmong community and then the ethnic village of Ta Van. The highlight is an overnight stay with a local family, offering an authentic glimpse into mountain life and cultural traditions.

On the second day, enjoy a homemade breakfast before traversing bamboo forests and soaking in panoramic views of Giang Ta Chai village. After your trek, return to Sapa for lunch and a refreshing shower before heading back to Hanoi. The unique selling point of this tour package is the immersive homestay—providing travelers with meaningful connections and firsthand experiences in Vietnam’s spectacular northern landscapes.

day 1 - Ha Noi - Sapa - Long trek Lao Chai, Ta Van villages

6.20 am: Be ready at 164 Tran Quang Khai Street to get on the sleeper bus to Sapa

9.30: Follow the highway to Lao Cai city with the first comfort break, then the second comfort break at Lao Cai city before approaching Sapa

Note: At the resting place, please prepare some small money (5.000-10.000VND) to pay for the toilet fee

13.00: Arrive Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of H’Mong, Dzao, Tay ethnic People.

Welcome drink and itinerary briefing, enjoy the lunch with local Vietnamese dishes

14.30: A short drive to Y Linh Ho then trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain. You approach Ta Van village where Dzay Ethnic People inhabit in late afternoon.

Trekking distance is about 9 kms and it lasts for 3 hours

17.00: Check in homestay; get to know the family of Dzay People. Spend time to enjoy the mountain life on Sunset. You may attend cooking with the family and enjoy dinner.

In the evening, you can join the hill tribe peace and socialize with other tourists then overnight at homestay in Ta Van Village.

day 2 - Giang Ta Chai village - Sapa town - Back to Hanoi

7.30 AM: Have breakfast prepared by the family and start a new day with more interesting trek.

8.00: Keep walking to the rice paddies where you have a nice photo session of the amazing surroundinglandscapes; a trek through the bamboo forest; stop to have a panorama view of Giang Ta Chai village.

11.00: Trek through the Giang Ta Chai Bridge to main road, bus picks you up to come back Sapa Town.

Trekking distance is about 3 kms and it lasts for 2 hours

12.30 – 13.30: Have lunch at the hotel and prepare your luggage to get on sleeper bus to Hanoi with two comfort breaks.

20.45 PM: We say goodbye to you at your hotel/stay. Trip ends.
