Our honeymoon also took us to Queen Elizabeth NP, Kibale NP and finally Bwindi NP in southwestern Uganda. Boaz our guide for the trip from Entebbe was an amazing, sharing his extensive knowledge of flora and fauna. We spent a lot of time in the safari vehicle and I am happy that it was comfortable for the bumpy off-roads. Gorillas was really special! My advice to anyone looking to experience South Africa, choose this adventure trip! Especially if you have younger children and teenagers, they all can enjoy this trip. As for the adults, there is so much to see and experience and watching the kids was delightful. I'd love to do another one - and I understand Shaun leads a trip that goes more to the interior of Zimbabwe to an 11th century site - that sounds right up my alley! But this trip is so worth the effort to get there and meet wonderful CEOs.

In late November 2025, four friends and I from India did the Marangu Route with Aardvark Expeditions, and it was a great experience every step of the way. In the weeks leading up to our climb, we exchanged many emails with the Aardvark Expeditions sales staff. Their quick responses and thorough explanations were what persuaded us to book with them. While climbing, our guide (Gabriel and Fred) were extremely professional. They adapted their pace to ours, provided encouraging words and advice to help us acclimatise, and made sure we were safe at all times. The food that Erik and Abuu prepared was another highlight. The meals were fresh, filling and served to us with a smile. Aardvark Expeditions made our first Kili attempt feel possible, secure and fun. Highly recommended!

"Planning this Kilimanjaro trip was hardest task of my life, from the choice of operator, to the preparation of all group equipments. As a student, the hesitation and uncertainty of traveling to Africa took me sometime. It was great that my friend recommended this tour company to our group, and from the first email, everything went smooth with a lot of advise on how to prepare from the company’s experts. Our guides (Peter and Daniel) amazing guides and very experienced. They checked our gear before the hike to ensure we had everything we needed. They monitored our heat rate and oxygen levels each night. They knew when we needed encouragement and went above and beyond to get all eight of us to the summit.
