I warmly recommend this local agency: the trip was adjusted to my personal needs (regarding budget and paying, dates of the trip etc.) due to the very friendly and service oriented tour operator Tumaini. I also had a great guide (ask for Marwa) and team on the mountain. There was nothing I could complain about. I planned the tour via internet in advance - very reliable.

The guides were true professionals, always making sure we were safe and motivated. The porters worked tirelessly and always had a smile, and the cook prepared hot, tasty meals even at high altitudes. The tents were clean and comfortable, and the equipment was high quality. Communication from the office was clear and responsive before, during, and after the trek. I cannot thank our guide Youssef and mule driver Mustafa enough, they were absolutely brilliant and really made this trip extremely special. I’ve completely fallen in love with the Atlas Mountains and the kind people who live there.
The trail is beautiful and takes you through varied and geologically interesting landscapes. We did the walk in December, and there hadn’t been snowfall yet, so the walk itself wasn’t overly strenuous giving us the chance to take in the surroundings and put the world to rights, and time to explore the villages in the evenings.
We were fortunate enough to have clear skies every night - in the small villages the view of the stars is incredible!
