This was an unforgettable gorillas trekking adventure with my dad in Bwindi Impenetrable forest with Christopher who works for this local travel specialist. Nicholas did a terrific job with the booking; permits, transport and accommodations all went smoothly. The tough 4 hours trek up the mountain was rewarded with amazing close sighting of the magnificent apes. After breakfast depart from your Nairobi hotel at 7:00 AM and drive to Hell's Gate National Park with stops at several view points to marvel at the scenic Great Rift Valley escarpment. Hell’s Gate is one of Kenya's smaller national parks, which can be explored on foot or on a bicycle. Arrive at the gate of Hell's Gate around mid-morning and start the bike tour for two hours within the park. You also have the option to drive instead of cycling. Animals that can be seen here include Bushbucks, Dikdiks, Giraffes, Gazelles, Gnus, Hartebeests, Impalas, Klipspringers, Buffaloes, Hyraxes, Zebras, Hyenas, Jackals, Mongooses, Baboons, Monkeys and Porcupines amongst others.
