We board our specialised safari vehicles, meet our resident guides and take to the road out of the busy city. We stop off at the Rift Valley viewpoint along the way and marvel at one of this great geographic phenomenon where the continent is slowly splitting. We head through a few small towns on our journey into the Mara area and make our way through the surrounding Maasai buffer area before arriving at our camp for the night.
