We used local travel specialists and service was outstanding. We had good nutrition and a competent guide, which is all that is needed. We took a guided town tour of Moshi before our climb, which was a great cultural experience. We totally recommend Rongai route for Kilimanjaro Hiking.
Visiting Tanzania in April and choosing Habari Adventure was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From the moment I landed to the final goodbye, everything was smooth, professional, and deeply heartfelt.
I took on the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, and though the mountain tested every part of me, the Habari team was great at every step. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable and caring, always checking in and keeping the team spirit alive with their encouragement. The porters were heroes-cheerful, strong, and full of heart. And the meals! Every bite gave me energy and comfort, especially when the altitude and cold got tough.
Summit night was the hardest and most emotional part of the journey, but also the most magical. Reaching Uhuru Peak at sunrise, with the sky painted in gold, was a moment of pure triumph. I couldn't have done it without the love and support of the Habari crew.
Beyond the mountain, I also went on a short safari-and again, Habari delivered a soul-stirring experience. From spotting elephants and lions to peaceful sunsets over the savannah, I felt connected to nature in a way I never imagined possible. The guide was passionate and deeply knowledgeable, and the camping setup made me feel both adventurous and safe.

"The most breathtaking experiences courtesy of this local tour operator. The safari gave my family an opportunity to connect with local communities. The sunset game drive was incredible, as the golden sun dipped below the horizon, we found ourselves surrounded by the enchanting sounds of nature. We opted to do the 6 day marangu route with anapa travel - I have to say our guides, porters, cooks and server were outstanding. Very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna on the trail. We felt very comfortable and safe with this team and would hike with them again.
