Our Culture and Wildlife of Madagascar tour was terrific. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and night walks to see lemurs, chameleons and more. We also experienced many aspects of the local culture, and we especially enjoyed the coastal lakes area of the Pangalanes, a tropical paradise. Our guide was informative and keen, and our accomodation was very comfortable.

This trip was amazing. We had an experience that we never could have got from staying in a lodge. Yes the nights were cold and a tent is not luxury but I would not have wanted to miss a second of it. If you are open to some adventure and bush camping then I highly recommend this trip.
Great trip with very good leaders in Weston, Gift and Dean. Well organised and informative. It can be hard work breaking camp most mornings, often quite early starts, and then setting up each evening, often at sunset. Client participation essential to make it all work. Food simple yet sustaining with good variety. Surprised the vehicle was not airconditioned as at times very hot.
Definitely would recommend this trip. All the games drive was amazing seen loads of animals. Safari was on my bucket list for a long time and to do it was amazing.
This tour is the perfect way to enjoy the fascinating beauty on display in East Africa's national parks. The Maasai Mara and Serengeti are two of the biggest and most famous parks in Africa, and when you combine the two in the same adventure, you're sure to have an adventure of a lifetime. Known for their Great Migration phenomenon, both parks introduce you to more than millions of wildebeest as they make their annual journey in search of greener pastures.
Explore with a wildlife tracking guide, take a hot air balloon ride in search of wildlife. Exploring the UNESCO heritage site in Ngorongoro crater, the crater acts as a water keeper for most of wildlife during the dry season. Gets opportunity to see the tree climbing lions at Lake Manyara, as well as the chance to experience canoeing activities on the lake.
On this tour, you'll have the ability to stay within the borders of the national park at a time when animals are scavenging for food, with fewer tourists to scare them away, this is set to be an action-packed and truly memorable tour.

A great trip led by our expert driver/guide Colin. We saw lots of wildlife, drove through ever changing landscape and stayed in excellent accommodation. The only downside was long driving days with no aircon in the truck.

Really well organised trip with reasonable quality accommodation. The drakensburg walks were great with super knowledgeable guides. Overall a really good trip to an amazing location.
Trip overall was terrific. Changes that could be made to future safaris. Game drives should only go out early morning, return to camp by 11am. 2nd game drive should start about 3pm until sunset. Rest at camp from 11am to 3pm. Boxed lunches should be deleted as they were well below standard & not terrible. Rift Valley Photographic Lodge was below standard & one night is plenty. The road in & out of the Lodge was absolutely terrible. My room had a terrible smell from shower drain & I was moved. The next room had no hot water until I chased it up. Swimming pools were all empty. Cut out long village walk as too hot & drive onto next lodge. You need at least 2 full days in the fantastic Ambroseli park. Masai Mara should be 2 full days experience & 2 full days in Ngorongoro Crater. Completely drop day 8 cultural experience etc from itinerary. We were all charged USD20 to visit Masia village but found out later Masai visit was free in initerary. The jeep in Kenya was old & very uncomfortable. The jeep in Tanzania was modern, a good ride & very uncomfortable. That part of the tour needs to be looked due to jeep travelling time.

This was a full on tour including camping, a houseboat as well as hotels. But the highlight was the wildlife. On day one you were amazed at the wildlife you saw and how close you could get. Just when you think it couldn’t get any better the following brought even more spectacular wildlife sightings. It was like watching a wildlife TV programme but you were actually there in it. There is a lot of travel involved but worth it to explore the region, mostly in Botswana which is a wonderful country. The camping was an experience I will not forget - it was hot in the tents at night and you need to come prepared but the “en-suite” bucket shower open to the sky above and having elephant and giraffe pass by and the excellent camp food made many a memory. The hotel at Thamo Telele afterwards felt like pure luxury as we all needed a much welcome bath. If you want to experience African wildlife close up but safely and have many different experiences as you go this is the adventure for you.
