South East Asia Natural landmarks sightseeing Trips

Enjoyed touring north and southern regions of Portugal, Expertise and depth of knowledge of history and culture of Sabrina, our Tour Director and professionalism and excellent tour driver, Felipe! Negative aspect: Was suppose to be a small group but number went up to 42! Bus felt tight and crowded and many of us ended up getting sick with coughs and bad colds.

I've recently completed the combined Corfu South and North walking trip along the Corfu trail. The walking was excellent with a mixture of walking through olive groves, coastal walking, and hilly terrain. Our guide Spiros was extremely passionate about the trail and caring for it and was a wealth of information. There were lots of opportunities to swim in the evenings though the October weather can be a little challenging. Accommodation and breakfasts were variable but generally OK. Spiros took us to some lovely establishments to enjoy the typical Corfu food which was very good. Overall a fantastic walking trip. Note that the south walks are a bit tougher due to the longer lengths.

With every trip I have done with Explore, the guides were excellent. Charlotte, the Greek island wander guide matches this excellence and then easily exceeds it. Because of how thorough, friendly and helpful she was, the trip was superb from end to end and for every detail. Even when I had free time, if I asked for information about what I planned to do, she was helpful. Every question was answered with a smile The trip itself was fantastic; a wonderful balance between tour led excursions, hikes and free time

Correctly Graded for me. Not a regular exerciser but have done other Walking holidays. Not easy but doable with a bit of effort. Took a first timer and he had a great time even with stiff legs by the flight home. Really good introduction to a lovely island and not a long flight from the UK. At times it really felt like you were on the edge of a little bit of wilderness but soon back to the comforts we’re used to. Guide (Joao C.) lived his Job not only did it. Excellent. Explore know what they are doing.

The group bonded very quickly so we had lots of laughs and plenty to talk about. It made a difference to have a range of nationalities so there were many interesting discussions as we made our way through each day's walk. Our tour leader was Bert, who did an excellent job of organising our itinerary and marshalling all 15 of us into our taxis, or to the local restaurants for dinner each evening.

Great tour with Joao as a guide, he is definitely one to recommend. The itinerary was moderate but as described, accommodation was good (renovation in the last hotel). I would recommend this trip strongly.
