The tour manager, Clare Martin, was wonderful. She was organized, engaged and informative. I loved her Canadian music choices, information on Canada and the movie she made of Canadian foods.

Perfect tour of Madeira with quite different areas and walks every day. Cliffs, forests, mountains - and plenty of free time in Funchal. Well looked after and our guide had good knowledge on all aspects. All the little stops such as cafes were charming.

Very comprehensive tour. Maja was a great tour director. The activities were great. Accommodations great. Felt the dinners lacked the true Scandinavian vibe we were after. Also, things are VERY expensive there so be prepared.

The holidays in the countries can cause problems finding open restaurants for lunch and dinner. We had to stop and eat in gas stations because those were the only open places. There is too little time spend in Sweden. Several of the excursions were not available and the shops were closed because "it's the off season". Why isn't that noted on the website? The times when the bags have to be put out in the hall, when breakfast is served, and when the bus leaves are tight on the weekends and holidays. I didn't go to North Cape because the trip was from 9pm to midnight and covered the same roads as the boat tour of bird islands. I hate "seat rotation" and many on my tour refused to sit in their assigned seats. It is difficult getting downstairs in the morning in the high-rise hotels with 10+ floors as the elevators have been given over to baggage moving. Those folks on the higher floors have to wait for a long time to get an elevator up to their floor, while those on the lower floors often find the elevators completely full when it stops at their floor. The itinerary is too vague. When does the free time start & end? Where do we meet the bus if we want to go to lunch near the museum instead of downtown? Do the excursions overlap so you can't do more than one? How far is the museum from the hotel? When can we check into the hotel? Why are we scheduled to eat dinner at 2030?

Joel, our tour director, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He did a great job with minor adjustments to the itinerary based upon unforeseen events. We very much enjoyed the sites we visited, the meals and hotels. The drivers also did an excellent job.

Got to see area I’ve never seen. Learned a lot of history about the area. Food was great. Hotels were great. Our guide Ann was the greatest. We had a wonderful time.
