This was our first biking trip and we loved it. Really great route - good for moderate cyclists who want a unique way to see the Netherlands. The first day was a bit lengthy but the daily distances were quite doable. We didn't leave the hotels until around 10am each day, stopped for lunch along the way and would typically reach the next hotel by 4pm. Also all of the hotels were lovely - the one in Zierikzee was probably our favourite. The standard bike was doable for the trip for my husband but I was quite happy having the e-bike.

In late November 2025, four friends and I from India did the Marangu Route with Aardvark Expeditions, and it was a great experience every step of the way. Everything was smooth - hotels were clean and well-located, transportation was on time, and guide was professional and enthusiastic. A group of 4 climbers from India, along with 3 friends from the UK, completed an arduous climb via the 7-day Machame Route with Aardvark Expeditions, and they exceeded our every expectation along the way. The first impression we had of Aardvark Expeditions (Philemon Joel) was one of speed in responding to our requests, providing clear directions, and making truthful declarations about what to expect when we booked. Booking our climb was made easy due to the assistance provided by the sales team. During the actual climb, the guiding team of Bariki and Jonathan performed exceptionally well. They were vigilant in their monitoring of climbers, supported us when altitude sickness hit, and continuously provided motivation throughout our trek on the mountain. The summit day was incredibly emotional, and all Aardvark Expeditions staff were there at the summit to celebrate with us for achieving our goal. This is a company that genuinely cares about every person who climbs for them. A five-star rating does not do enough justice for the value provided by the staff at Aardvark Expeditions.
