Emmanuel

Smooth, Scenic, and Superbly Organized I joined a 6-Day Marangu Route hike with Kilisa Tours, and the whole experience was seamless. The accommodations in the mountain huts were cozy, and the support staff made sure we were always comfortable. Our guide shared fascinating stories about the mountain s history and wildlife. Everything ran perfectly on schedule, and the company s attention to detail was impressive. I ve done many treks before, but Kilisa Tours stands out for their genuine care and world-class service. Couldn t have asked for more!

Everyone needs to see this spectacular part of the world. The tour covered outstanding areas of natural beauty with overnight stays in gorgeous cities and towns. The riding was easy with mostly flat countryside and few hills or climbs. The bikes were good quality (we hired electric bikes) and the local support company helpful with friendly staff.

Such a great trip! I enjoyed every minute of it. This is different to other "self guided" tours as most days involved a pick up or drop off and driving. We had a great group and great fun.

Itinerary

Discover Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania at your own rhythm on the Estonia to Lithuania Self Guided Cycle trip. Spanning 11 days from Tallinn to Vilnius, this moderate journey is tailored for independent-minded travelers and seniors, offering supported cycling through the capitals, countryside, and charming villages of the Baltics. Ride through Lahemaa National Park, Otepää Lakeland, and the beaches of Jurmala; visit the evocative Hill of Crosses and the island castle at Trakai. With luggage transfers and guided city tours included, the USP of this tour package is its independence paired with thoughtful support, letting you focus on cultural discovery and scenic pedaling.

day 1 - Arrive Tallinn

On arrival in Tallinn, make your way to the hotel (we can arrange an arrival transfer for you if required - supplement applies). In the early evening at 6pm you can join a guided tour of Tallinn's old town. The city grew in importance as a strategic port between Russia and Scandinavia, and has evolved into a vibrant cultural city with a delightful walled historic centre. There is an eclectic mix of medieval and modern, Soviet and classic Estonian, grand church spires and crumbling wooden houses. Dinner at leisure in Tallinn's emerging culinary scene.

Lahemaa, or 'land of bays' is a nature lover’s paradise and the largest national park in Estonia, established in 1971. There are dense woods, marshes, lakes and waterfalls to discover. If you prefer wildlife to landscape, the park has moose, wild boars and over 220 bird species. Continue to Sagadi and your hotel for overnight accommodation.
