Andes Cooking classes Tour Reviews
Real traveler feedback from Cooking classes tours across Andes
I loved the full tour, and both tour directors. My complaint would be that it was a bit confusing on the last day, as the tour covered what we'd already seen, beginning in Barcelona. We were assisted (by the tour director, Sonia) in planning an alternate excursion, so it worked out OK.
This tour was great!! Our guide, Helder Almeida, is one of the best!! I would have liked another day in Valencia and one extra in Madrid. (So much to see!)
Wonderful and diverse intinerary showing many aspects of Italy. Wonderful accommodation and great included meals with the exception of the dinner at Cappuccini Country Resort which we all thought was like canned meatballs in tomato sauce. An absolutely fantastic Travel Director - Barbara TD - who was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and we loved how she made us feel like part of her Italian family. A perfect holiday! Gorgeous pic I took of Todi at night .. such a pretty town!
I thoroughly enjoyed the theme of Country Roads as it we were able to explore a lot of places away from the cities at a relaxed pace. However, the downside of this itinerary was - * that the Hotel at Perugia was not in close proximity to the town centre for those who chose not to join the Optional Excursion for that day. May I suggest the Optional Excursion be included in the Itinerary, not as an extra so no one is stranded at the Hotel for the day. * very disappointed with the change of Hotel at Venice as the standard of accommodation and service was very "average" * the included dinners at the Hotels were well below standard.
We had a terrific time with Barbara! She is an amazing tour director. As far as the itinerary, I'd like to have stayed a night in both Positano and Cinque Terra. Lucca could've been skipped, and Parma should just be a stop for the cheese tasting. The neighborhood where our Parma hotel was did not feel safe. The hotel in Venice was such a treat, and worthwhile splurge to end our vacation!
Our trip went so smoothly thanks to our Travel Director, Helder. He was very organized and went over and above to make sure we were comfortable having fun and on schedule. The trip included some great options that I’ll never forget. A special thank you to Helder and Marco our driver.
