Luxor Tours in April 2026

Great trip with lots to see and do and your guide done well to avoid the crowds in the places visited. Only downside was lost of early mornings throughout the trip!

I almost didn’t book this trip, thinking I’d be “too old for a cruise tour” or that it would be rushed, crowded, or filled with too much sightseeing and not enough space to breathe. But let me tell you, this tour completely changed my mind. It wasn’t just doable it was deeply enjoyable. Everything was thoughtfully organized, accessible, and paced just right for someone like me in my early 60s who still loves to explore but isn’t looking to be on the go from dawn to dusk without a pause. We traveled as a group yes but it never felt like we were being shuffled from one place to the next. There was enough structure to feel secure and taken care of but also these little pockets of stillness that I didn’t expect... a quiet cup of coffee on the cruise deck while the Nile slowly moved past even a moment of meditation I did on my own by the river. Those little moments made all the difference. The temples were something else. Edfu and Philae in particular struck me, not just because of their size or detail, but their presence. There’s a certain quiet power in these places that you only feel by standing there in person. And then of course the Grand Pyramids. I thought I’d seen them already in books and documentaries, but being there… it gave me chills. There’s something about seeing them up close that stirs something ancient and humbling in you. I came home with more than just photos...I came back with a sense of connection to something much bigger than myself. This tour wasn’t just a vacation. It was an experience that touched me deeply, at just the right pace, and reminded me that it’s never too late to feel wonder again.

My wife and I booked the 9 days Beauty of Egypt Tour, and honestly, it far exceeded our expectations. The itinerary was perfectly balanced between cultural immersion and relaxation. We appreciated how deeply the team respected Egyptian heritage while making the experience enjoyable and authentic. Our guide, Randa, was phenomenal she didn’t just show us temples and tombs, she told the stories behind them with heart. The Nile cruise was simply beautiful, clean rooms, exceptional service, and every meal felt like dining at a boutique restaurant. We especially loved the warm hospitality of the cruise staff, always smiling, attentive, and professional. Even the long drives were comfortable, thanks to spotless vehicles and great drivers. The travel team made us fall in love with the country. Highly recommend it for travelers who want authenticity with comfort.

The 9 days Egypt experience was totally amazing and memorable. The tour covered all of the great things we must see in Egypt. The hotel and cruise accommodation is really worth the money and even the food is great. The Nile cruise is one of my favorites in the tour. Our tour guide George Magdy is truly an experienced guide and he made everything so smooth and easy for all of us. I would definitely recommend Expat Explore to my friends who are planning to visit Egypt and i will recommend also the same tour guide George Magdy as he made our vacation a truly wonderful time.

Tour is very well organized. Loved the itineraries. With all of our travels so far, Egypt is the most amazing and fascinating and so glad we did it! We had so much fun with this tour where we met fellow travelers who became our friends. Egypt should be in everyone's bucket list!
