Luxor 11-Day Tours and Trips

This was an experience of a lifetime. You should know this an adventure, not a vacation, so if you want to just relax about, this is not for you. However, if you want to see the major sights of Egypt, this is it! It is active adventure with scheduled and optional tours that enhance your Egyptian experience and should not be missed. I loved every minute of this immersion into Egypt. Over all the service provided by this tour operator was beyond my expectation, made me very comfortable with the arrival and departure from Egypt, escorted and guided all the way through with first class accommodations, transfers and guided tours, the whole trip was well organized, safe and enjoyable. We highly recommend this tour.

We booked this tour to see all the things that we had only read about in history books. And it didn't disappoint. The tour starts with someone meeting you at the Cairo airport to help through customs This makes it so easy. You get handed off a few times and end up at the hotel. The e is security everywhere. I never felt unsafe during the entire tour. There are several adds on tours you can do before or after the official tour. We did the Hot air balloon and the Nubian village it is very recommend to do. You are going to be spending a lot of time traveling on a bus on rough roads so be ready for that. Some of the days start early so you can get there before the crowds. This ended up being totally worth it nothing like having a whole temple to yourself. Be ready for very pushy sales folks everywhere. Also have lots of small bills available for tipping and bathroom breaks, there's normally a fee for any bathroom use. The guide knows a lot. Our guide was Mustafa He answered all our questions and provided tons of information and kept everything going smoothly. He was more than willing to accommodate requests. Also my best part was the Nile cruise it was 4 nights from luxor to Aswan the tour operator accommodated us on Mayfair Cruise the boat was incredible and the staff was very helpful , food was very testy we enjoyed our time in Egypt thanks to the tour company and our guide we are happy to recommend you.

We just returned from the Royal Tour of Egypt with the team, and it was nothing short of magical. Every day felt like we were stepping into a living museum only with 5-star comfort and a guide who made it all come alive. Our guide, Sherif, was incredibly knowledgeable, but what made him special was his passion. He didn’t just show us the pyramids or the temples he told us the why, the how, the heart behind the stones. The Nile cruise was stunning. The rooms were spotless, the food was varied and delicious (including some local dishes we absolutely loved), and the staff treated us like family. Special shoutout to the waiters and kitchen team — they made our evenings feel warm and welcoming. Every transfer was on time, every hotel well-chosen, and every moment thoughtfully planned. If you're looking for a trip that respects both your time and your curiosity, this is the one. Unforgettable.

Excellent trip, fantastic sightseeing with a great group and an excellent guide! The pace was full on but everything worth it . The lunch with a local family, the visit of the school and the dinner with a nubian family gave it a special touch and the overnight train journey was really good fun. The only downside was the poor heating in some of the hotel/cruise ship rooms, bring a woolly jumper to sleep in if you travel in winter! One of the best trips I have done for ages. Mohamed was an amazing guide - not only knowledgeable but also great at helping us to navigate travelling in Egypt and at arranging things so that it all flowed smoothly and easily. It is an amazing itinerary, especially if you allow for including as many of the optional excursions as you can - an intense ten days with a huge amount packed in without feeling rushed. Hotels were all good (and well located), as was the boat and the food. The sleeper train was probably the low point - not all that comfortable and poor food - but it made the best use of the time in terms of travelling and it's only for one night. Despite tensions elsewhere in the Middle East, this never felt unsafe in any way. Overall, an amazing trip and well worth going. Thanks to Mohamed and all at Explore!
