One of the best trips I have done for ages. Mohamed was an amazing guide - not only knowledgeable but also great at helping us to navigate travelling in Egypt and at arranging things so that it all flowed smoothly and easily. It is an amazing itinerary, especially if you allow for including as many of the optional excursions as you can - an intense ten days with a huge amount packed in without feeling rushed. Hotels were all good (and well located), as was the boat and the food. The sleeper train was probably the low point - not all that comfortable and poor food - but it made the best use of the time in terms of travelling and it's only for one night. Despite tensions elsewhere in the Middle East, this never felt unsafe in any way. Overall, an amazing trip and well worth going. Thanks to Mohamed and all at Explore!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Egypt, and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! From the majestic Pyramids of Giza to the serene beauty of the Nile River, every moment was filled with wonder. Pyramids of Giza: Our adventure began at the iconic Pyramids of Giza. Standing before these ancient structures was surreal; the sheer size and craftsmanship left me in awe. Our knowledgeable guide shared fascinating stories about the history and construction of the pyramids, making the experience even more enriching. The Sphinx, with its enigmatic presence, was another highlight that I will never forget. Nile Cruise: After exploring the pyramids, we embarked on a Nile cruise that was nothing short of spectacular. The ship was comfortable and well-appointed, with stunning views of the river. Each day brought new adventures, from visiting the Valley of the Kings to exploring the magnificent temples of Karnak and Luxor. The guided tours were insightful, and the local culture and history came to life before our eyes. Food and Hospitality: The food on the cruise was delightful, offering a mix of traditional Egyptian dishes and international cuisine. The staff was incredibly hospitable, making us feel welcomed and cared for throughout our journey. Conclusion: This trip to Egypt exceeded all my expectations. The combination of the awe-inspiring pyramids and the breathtaking Nile cruise created a perfect blend of history, culture, and relaxation. My first group tour so I was a bit nervous plus my first trip to Egypt! The staff that met me at hotel were so caring and there was attention to the smallest detail such as offering me a sim card, to explaining the plans to assure me, was really thoughtful. Our guide Remon is there best and he has great humour and expertise! I cannot rate Expat higher and hope to use them again and often.

I felt safe the entire time with my tour guide George Magdy even with current events. The only thing I will note is one unhappy tourist will tell you this trip was less than ideal when George did everything to make the trip memorable by being informative, consistent and most importantly attentive. This is my fourth trip with Expat and I already booked my next. My only regret is that George won't be showing me around a different city. Great value and a truly wonderful trip.

The tour was a highly enriching experience. The tour guide Mr Ramez was incredibly knowledgeable providing insightful details at every historic site that we visited and ensured our safety throughout the trip. I learned a lot from his expertise.
