Lake Maggiore Tours and Trips

To start the tour manage Damiano Tognao was wonderful. His grace, patience’s kindness and humor were amazing. I really appreciated his knowledge of the places we visited and pointing out the differences in Swiss and Italian cultures. I would love to do another trip with him as my tour manager/guide. As for the trip I loved all of it. I feel that each part and place had its own unique beauty and to pick one is difficult. I loved the time spent in Bavino and Stresa Italy. Visiting 3 islands was amazing. The alps and Zermatt were incredible! The train rides were jaw dropping beauty!

It is hard to pick a favorite memorable experience, the whole trip was amazing, and the guide was so helpful and informative. I had a health issue and Damiano was excellent in helping me, he was very caring. The views were breathtaking and our bus driver (Diago), he was an expert at handling all the switch backs going thru the mountains.

Great time. Switzerland is simply gorgeous. Tour included Zurich, Zermatt, St. Moritz and Lucern, as well as Lake Maggiore in Northern Italy. We felt that the tour included about all we could see in these cities. The train rides were epic and the optional excursions were wonderful. Our tour guide was Armando and we would rate him A-1. We hope our paths will cross again someday!

The Swiss trains and the beautiful Italian Lago Maggiore were the main reasons for my trip. The Matterhorn must be enjoyed up close and in person. But I also enjoyed the cultural aspects as well like the family-owned cheese farm. The alphorn concert and the military band in Zermatt were unexpected delights. The impromptu roadside wine and cheese picnic with photo op was fun. The dinner of tastings on Isola dei Pescatori was absolutely scrumptious! Every dish that the chef chose and prepared was wonderful! A shout out to our wonderful, witty tour guide, Vili (and our very skillful driver, Danilo)! This trip did not disappoint!!

This tour was great! We got to see so many different sights and experience different modes of transportation. The vistas are just gorgeous. Our tour guide, Daniel, was awesome as was our motor coach driver, Danillo. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see various places in Switzerland and Lake Maggiore in Italy. FABULOUS!
