The itinerary was well planned . The tour director Villi went out of his way to make sure all in the group are well taken cared of and happy-No one was left alone. . Was very flexible. We were always priority on going to special spots . No waiting on line . We will surely do another Insight Vacation trip . Thank you .

Great overview of Poland - it was an amazing country that may not get cited beyond Krakow and Warsaw. People were friendly and welcoming. Most hotels were centrally located with proximity to the old towns or town centers, allowing you to enjoy exploring on your own. Plenty of restaurant choices with choices of Polish favorites or international options. We enjoyed all of the optional excursions and meals, and they do allow you to decide whether to enjoy them or explore sites/museums on your own. Tour director and driver were great.

Fantastic detailed itinerary. We visited so many places that others have never been . The Story of the Polish People is to be commended and admired . Their strength in adverse and inhuman conditions . The hotels were exceptional. Our tour guide and driver were “the best”. Highlights of Poland - a tour everyone should consider .

Poland is an incredible country with a variety of interesting sites and experiences. Each day our tour took us to cities and small communities with beautiful architecture, both old and new, delicious food, scenic landscapes, cultural performances, and local people who were warm and welcoming. The tour was a good blend of rich history and modern society.

Most Poland itineraries are very similar: The country is pretty small and the tourist sites well-known and frequently visited. What makes the difference is your Tour Director, and the TD we were fortunate to have for our "Highlights of Poland" tour with Insight Vacations in July 2025 was superlative (https://www.insightvacations.com/en-us/tours/highlights-of-poland?optionId=221). Throughout our tour, Sonia not only took us to a site, she visited it with us, keeping us on time and on schedule. She not only escorted us to restaurants, she ate with us. When we visited tourist-thronged sites like the Wieliczka Salt Mine, Zakopane, Sopot, Auschwitz-Birkenau, and others, she was the first person to the ticket booth and the last to board the bus. She was (almost always) first to breakfast and last to leave the hotel lobby at night. She was fast with a flourish and speedy with a sweet. Sonia didn't just anticipate problems, she solved them quickly, efficiently, and discretely. Although not a Polish speaker, she communicated effectively via her smile, patience, and calmness. Our Local Guides in Wroclaw, Warsaw, and Gdansk will similarly excellent: Knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Poland. Marta (Gdansk guide) was fantastic; a native of Gdansk, she shared many interesting and funny stories about being raised under Communist rule.

Well paced. Enough walking for younger travellers but manageable for older seniors and free time was adequate. Krakow, Gdansk, Warsaw, Zakopane, Wroclaw were all wonderful stops during the tour. Salt mine near Krakow was well worth the time spent there. , our guide was great - because he married a Polish woman and has lived in Poland for 15 years ( originally from Australia) his local knowledge of history and customs, told from a personal perspective, was entertaining and made more relatable.
